Role Description We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join a platform engineering team building a next-generation self-service platform for application developers. The platform is already in production beta with multiple microservices and requires feature enhancements, scalability improvements, security hardening, and performance optimization. Role Description Our client is a Fortune 500 financial and payments technology company, and leads the industry in innovation, scale, and service. They are now looking to add to their team and are looking to hire an "OpenSearch Migration Assessment". This role will be based out of New York City, ideally hybrid, but can be 100% Remote. Project: - AWS-funded migration assessment for moving Apache Solr on EC2 to AWS OpenSearch Service. - The engagement focuses on assessing the current environment, identifying migration risks/gaps, and building a migration roadmap with cost and ROI analysis. Role Description The Architectural Design Manager will oversee architectural design reviews, renovations, and Property Improvement Plan (PIP) projects across multiple hospitality brands. This role will partner with ownership groups, architects, consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects align with Brand standards and operational requirements. Responsibilities - Review architectural plans, specifications, and renovation submittals for hospitality projects. - Manage Property Improvement Plans (PIPs), site visits, and Brand compliance reviews. - Oversee multiple projects simultaneously across various development stages. - Coordinate with architects, franchisees, consultants, contractors, and internal departments. - Ensure Brand standards, design quality, and project timelines are maintained. - Review FF&E selections, commercial finishes, and hospitality design requirements. - Utilize AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office for design reviews and markups. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design, or related field required. - 5+ years of hospitality architecture/design experience preferred. - Experience with hotel renovations, conversions, and Brand standards highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and hospitality design processes. - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties Creates and defines seamless, consistent and desirable experiences for Global Payments products and services through the application of user-centered design principles including qualitative and quantitative user research and analysis and visual and/or interaction design. The UX Designer/Architect helps define an in-depth understanding of the context in which our customers interact with our products and services. The UX Designer/Architect applies customer needs, motivations, tasks and goals to the design of highly engaging experiences for multiple devices, delivery channels and at times, non-digital touchpoints. The UX Designer/Architect acts as an user advocate to project teams and collaborates well with all Stakeholders in the development of the experience.
