The position will be responsible for contacting injured workers, clients and any additional parties to determine compensability. Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Participate in training introducing workers’ compensation claims handling and applicable laws - Learn to read and interpret complex documents including regulations, statutes, legal documents, investigative reports, medical records, medical bills and claims notes - Learn to use claims management software and other related software for claims handling and reporting - Manage medical treatment to provide the optimum level of care while controlling costs - Learn skills such as investigative communication, negotiation, and decision-making - Evaluate facts, write clear and concise reports and develop a plan of action. - Calculate reserves for each claim and adjust as needed. - Analyze and determine the eligibility of benefit payments - Communicate effectively through telephone and electronic correspondence with managers, clients, providers and injured workers Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - 3 years or more of office experience - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products - Experience working in a work from home environment Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university preferred; - or one to two years related experience and/or training; - or equivalent combination of education and experience

In addition, this position will be responsible for stored procedure, view and index development, as well as SQL Server instance management and performance tuning. Essential Functions & Responsibilities - The SQL Developer will be primarily responsible for MS SQL Analysis Services, Integration Services, Reporting Services, Stored Procedures, Views, Indexes and relational database architecture. - This position will work with end users in developing analytic and reporting tools, and with the application development group in database schema, stored procedure and view development. - Duties will also include MS SQL server maintenance and tuning to achieve maximum performance. - Create, monitor and troubleshoot SQL jobs, and integration service packages. - Writing and creating data load scripts and stored procedures; ensuring that data is loaded in a timely manner and to vendor and/or client specifications. - Ability to work with various departments and associated vendors and/or clients with data issues. - Performance Tuning: review monitoring tools and query execution plans to maintain or increase query efficiency. Also perform root cause analysis on query performance issues to improve application response time for our clients - Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications - Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline - At least 3 years’ experience in Microsoft SQL Server development and management. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer experience in the areas of Insurance, Claims or Finance. - Experience with Power BI Server, Power BI Desktop, Power Query (M language), and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) is preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Must be proficient in Microsoft SQL Server 2012,2016 and 2022, Analysis Services with in-depth knowledge of authoring SRSS reporting and SSIS development for SQL Agent jobs. - Other requirements include a strong work ethic, team player, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and meet timed deadlines. Insurance is licensed in all fifty (50) states. **REMOTE ROLE IN TEXAS** Commercial Lines Account Manager Primary Responsibility The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be primarily responsible for servicing and handling commercial accounts with a total book between $300,000 to $500,000 in revenue. Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Provide technical support for the producer in maintaining existing commercial accounts in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined in the agency procedures and workflows - Responsible for coordinating the renewal process, account development and retention of existing customers - Collect necessary renewal marketing information such as supplemental applications, schedules and loss runs - Provide quotes for new and existing business, update applications, assist with marketing process, prepare proposals/summaries and/or premium comparisons - Ability to handle insured and underwriting questions - Ability to create and process finance agreements - Orders and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items - Complete all billings and invoicing on new business, renewals, endorsements, audits, and monthly reports - Proficient in all Account Processor and Associate Account Manager essential functions & responsibilities - Responsible for maintaining the integrity of client and policy information in the agency management system - Establish and build relationships with customers and carriers Additional Functions & Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain reports that may be required by management. - Provide backup and support for other team members. - Pursue a designation program of personal and professional development Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent and/or college degree - Hold a valid Texas General Lines Agent license - At least three years of commercial lines insurance experience Preferred Qualifications - College degree - A minimum of one of the following designations: QCLS, ACLS, PCIA, ACSR, CISR, AAI, CPCU, CIC or CRIS Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office - Ability to learn the agency management software. - Ability to work with internal and external clients at all levels. - Ability to follow directions. - High level of organizational skills. - Ability to work independently self-motivated and meets timed deadlines. - Ability to follow processes and procedures set forth by the agency. - Ability to problem solve - Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. - Ability to work with a team. - Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written. - Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
