• Meet with clients to understand their current business processes and needs to provide consulting services and direction on how to build or grow their current data strategy. • Work with HBS Sales Solutions consultants to identify and grow opportunities within HBS client environments. • Support and administer the underlining infrastructure and layout of a client data environment. • Develop and design the process for the customer data collection process. • Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data. • Review customer sources to ensure integrity of the data collection process. • Collaborate with the BI Data Developers to ensure the requirements are being met to build the right solution needed. • Estimate development effort required to deliver data customer needs and requests. • Use business analysis skillset to identify development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability. • Ability to work independently or as a team on project-based solutions for clients. • Work with team mates to continue to grow and mature data services and delivery options for HBS clients. • Based on experience, one may mentor other engineers in developing scalable, secure, high-performance BI and Data solutions. • Meet annual billable hour goal, as defined by HBS. This number may change over time as the business evolves.
• Provides a wide range of IT services from desktop & application support to basic administrative duties for servers, networking, and firewall equipment • Responds to auto generated ticket alerts both critical and non-critical • Monitors and works tickets in ticket system for client submitted requests • Acknowledges and responds to tickets based on Managed Services SLA • Participates in phone call queue for client call in requests • Reviews monthly client reports and provides resolutions solutions based on generated reports • Escalates tickets to internal departments and clients IT departments • Performs proactive maintenance duties such as switch/firewall/routers upgrades, server patches, workstation patches, firewall rules, etc. • Provides remote application and hardware support for switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and storage • Monitors and analyzes customer networks, systems, backups, and security appliances • Works with customer’s primary field engineer to perform work on an as needed basis • Project manages internal department initiatives from time to time • Contributes and enhances internal department process/system documentation • Follows policies and procedures on a department and per client basis • Conducts training of customers or colleagues in both formal and informal environments • Maintains documentation of customer technical information as it relates to procedures, servers, applications, infrastructure, and remote support instructions
• Develop, implement, and support related services and solutions for consulting clients • Build a customer-focused relationship with clients • Collaborate and be a leader across multiple internal teams • Research new products for selection • Provide senior-level support, maintenance, and administration for customer environments • Assist with the development and implementation of the Azure cloud security architecture • Create and maintain detailed documentation of past projects • Obtain and maintain current vendor/industry specific certifications
• Develop, deploy, and maintain BI interfaces • Transform data into meaningful information for business decisions • Create dashboards and visual depictions of data to reveal patterns, trends, or correlations • Identify and expand opportunities within client environments • Provide consulting services to clients on data strategy • Design the process for customer data collection and modeling • Lead BI software development, deployment and maintenance • Conduct end user training on BI tools
