Role Description This role is a remote position. In partnership with the University Registrar, the Associate Registrar provides leadership, oversight, and operational management for the Office of Records and Registration. This position is responsible for the administration and continuous improvement of core registrar functions, including: - Student registration - Academic records management - Course scheduling - Curriculum systems management - Degree audit processes - Institutional data integrity The Associate Registrar serves as a key resource for students, faculty, and staff regarding academic policies, procedures, and systems. The role also oversees curriculum technologies and processes related to: - Academic catalog management - Curriculum approval workflows - Digital catalog publication Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a registrar, records, or enrollment services environment within higher education. - Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience. - Experience with student information systems and academic technologies; Jenzabar EX experience preferred. - Experience with Catalog, or comparable catalog and curriculum management systems, preferred. - Knowledge of academic records management, registration processes, degree audit systems, and curriculum administration. - Understanding of FERPA and other applicable federal and state regulations related to student records and privacy. - Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills. - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to leverage technology to improve processes and services. - Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Requirements - Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of daily operations within the Office of Records and Registration. - Ensure the accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and security of student academic records in compliance with institutional policies and applicable regulations. - Monitor operational effectiveness and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and compliance with best practices. - Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of university academic policies, curriculum requirements, and institutional procedures. - Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to support institutional initiatives and student success. - Serve as the institutional lead for Catalog Curriculum administration, including academic catalog maintenance, curriculum workflows, and digital catalog publication. - Attend curriculum committee meetings and communicate approved curriculum changes to the university community. - Manage institutional requirement trees, degree audit configurations, and related academic systems processes. - Assist in the development and maintenance of academic calendars and related registration timelines. - Coordinate the processing of undergraduate honors and preparation of corresponding student communications. - Provide guidance and support to students, faculty, and staff regarding registration procedures, academic policies, records management, and graduation requirements. - Resolve complex registration and records issues with professionalism, accuracy, and sound judgment. - Support university-wide communication and training related to registration and academic records processes. - Supervise and support assigned staff members, including onboarding, training, performance management, and professional development. - Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and service-oriented team environment. - Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and evaluation. - Participate in hiring, staffing recommendations, and succession planning initiatives. - Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team meetings to support communication, accountability, and professional growth. - Encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous learning among team members. - Mentor staff to strengthen technical knowledge, customer service skills, and operational effectiveness. - Support departmental planning initiatives and operational goal setting. - Prioritize and delegate assignments effectively while ensuring appropriate resources and support are available. - Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental procedures and documentation. - Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and student service delivery through technology and process enhancement. - Promote data-informed decision-making and operational efficiency. - Support initiatives related to automation, systems optimization, and continuous improvement. - Evaluate staff performance regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback. - Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for departmental staff. - Identify and support professional development opportunities for team members. Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting curriculum governance processes and academic catalog production. - Familiarity with data reporting, compliance auditing, and process documentation. - Experience leading process improvement or systems implementation initiatives.

Adjunct Faculty Exercise Science

Role Description HU is seeking part-time/adjunct faculty members to teach our undergraduate-level courses for this Fall 2026 semester, and beyond. - This position is remote unless specific course requirements necessitate it; otherwise, expectations will be discussed with the Program Lead. - This is a Pathway for Physical Therapist Assistants to obtain their Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. - Graduates will have the prerequisites for admission into the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, which is currently in development. - The program is primarily online and remote, except for a few onsite laboratory weekends. - The EXSC program received initial Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accreditation in May 2023. Qualifications - Minimum of a master’s degree in Exercise Science or a closely related field. - Preference for individuals with doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, ScD or DSc, etc.) preparation. - Current certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), such as: - ACSM-EP - ACSM-CEP - NSCA-CSCS - NSCA-CPT - Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practice and online teaching. - Commitment to student engagement and professional preparation in the health and human performance fields.
