Role Description Our fast-growing organization is currently seeking an experienced Development Manager to join the expanding Development team. This individual is responsible for overseeing the planning, advancement, and execution of the development and repositioning of USDA financed rural affordable housing projects (“RD”) and projects within our multi-family development portfolio. This role involves leading a development team and ensuring projects are closed on time and within budget. This is a management position, which includes supervisory responsibilities for personnel, collaboration with the management team, and oversight of deal structuring and terms. The Development Manager will support the Development Team in overseeing and executing all aspects of affordable housing development. This role will involve managing specific project components, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring compliance with funding and regulatory requirements. The Development Manager is responsible for advancing projects from conception to completion, with a focus on schedule adherence, financial oversight, and stakeholder coordination. This position requires a great deal of autonomy and accountability, along with strong experience in critical thinking and problem solving, negotiating, networking, and teamwork. Role Description Harmony Housing Affordable Development Inc. (“HHAD”) is among the largest real estate developers of affordable rental housing in the United States. Our mission is to positively impact communities by creating and preserving quality affordable housing for low wealth households. HHAD is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harmony Housing, a 501c3 not-for-profit owner and operator of affordable housing. Our fast-growing organization is currently seeking an experienced Director of Acquisitions to join the expanding Business Development team. This individual will play a pivotal role in identifying, securing, and developing new affordable housing projects within target markets, while also leading business development efforts to expand the company’s portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of affordable housing finance, development processes, and a proven track record of forging new business relationships within the real estate development and housing sectors.
