Role Description We are a digital broker for Auto, Home, Pet, and Life Insurance. Our focus is to create the most seamless and unobtrusive user experience from the first click to policy being closed. About The Role: Our small core team of engineers have worked across many products. One of those projects is the ground-up creation of the client platform and scaling it successfully over the last few years. This role will work with existing team members to continue the work, while also offering mentoring and supervision. In addition, the role will be strongly involved in scaling the Otto software engineering team for dedicated work, by interviewing, training and working to onboard new engineers to support the rapidly growing business. Key Responsibilities - Work with executive leadership to develop clear, concise technical plans for business needs - Effectively communicate those plans for implementation with an established engineering team - Support the engineering efforts to write clean, stable code - Hire and develop talent, provide consistent coaching and feedback - Develop efficient processes to tackle everyday problems - Participate in code review processes across multiple languages - Ability to communicate asynchronously when needed across many time zones Qualifications - 7+ years of software engineering experience - Team leader with the ability to recruit, train and retain staff - Demonstrated ability to report to non-technical executives, as well as shepherd communication with partners on both business and technical levels - Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the software development life cycle - Design and build scalable infrastructure with an eye for efficiency and budget - Willing to dive into tough problems either in a group or building out early stages of development solo - Experience with PHP/JavaScript a plus Requirements - Our tech stack: PHP for backend API and data processing - Javascript with React for front-end - Aurora/AWS data infrastructure

Role Description The Client is seeking a Senior Engineer, Wireless to join our team in our Tri-State region! The Wireless Network Engineer works on a team to ensure exceptional excellence and create supreme customer experiences for all assigned projects. The Senior Wireless Network Engineer combines technical ability and experience with polished communication skills to deploy a variety of solutions that focus on routes, switches, and firewalls. Job Responsibilities - Lead engineer on customer engagements including design, testing, implementation, and support for new deployments, expansions, and upgrades. - Assess and troubleshoot customer wireless environments. - Lead technical discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solutions. - Assist clients through the planning, design, and implementation of next-generation mobility solutions. - Develop technical architectures on behalf of Presidio around our Mobility Practice utilizing strategic vendor technology solutions. - Develop comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance. - Author technical deliverables including capacity planning, detailed design documents, test plans, implementation plans, and configurations. - Provide peer reviews of implementations, configurations, and documentation for team members. - Assist/oversee other team members with deployments, troubleshooting, and best practices reviews. - Obtain certifications to enhance professional development and partner fulfillment with our strategic vendors. - Stay current with mobility technology trends, customer use cases, and market demand to recommend and deliver relevant wireless solutions to align with customer business goals. - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and objectives regarding processes, initiatives, and projects. Qualifications - Expert designing and troubleshooting using Ekahau Pro (ideally in healthcare, manufacturing, and distribution environments). - Expert-level experience with performing onsite wireless designs. - Expert with one or more of the following wireless platforms: HPE Aruba, Cisco, Meraki. - Experience with one or more of the following Network Access Control (NAC) products: HPE Aruba ClearPass. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work and/or military experience. - 7-10+ years of wireless networking engineering experience, experience with professional services strongly preferred. - Technical certifications strongly desired in Cisco and/or HPE Aruba.
