Title: Education Specialist Location: Atlanta GA United States Job Description: Salary Range: $62,000 To $70,000 Annually Candidates should live in the Atlanta area. This position is responsible for delivering live, virtual, engaging, and motivating technical, customer service, and salon management training that ensures all franchisees' salon staff are able to deliver the brand promise with each and every customer. Your Mission You will have the opportunity to educate stylists and salon managers on the Great Clips, Inc. Brand delivery, hair cutting and clipper systems, salon management training, and develop salon technical coaches. You will provide an exceptional experience to stylists, managers, and franchisees through our training programs. You will work in a virtual environment, providing instructor-led training via a virtual platform, maintain facilitator - producer relationships, and contribute to a collaborative training environment. On your journey, you will face challenges such as: - Deliver live, virtual training with high technical quality and strong knowledge of salon operations. - Know the Zoom platform and all the functions used to provide engaging and interactive training. - Provide virtual training support to franchisees, including but not limited to the blended learning environment, technology best practices, and Great Clips University. - In your role as facilitator, deliver training using effective facilitation techniques and establish a climate consistent with Great Clips Values and Delivering Our Brand. - In your role as producer, provide technical support to your facilitation partner, manage the zoom features required in training, and be prepared to facilitate in the event of an emergency. - Collaborate with your Education Services Manager to accommodate training calendars that meet the needs of the system. - Collaborate with Salon Operations Specialists to plan Manager / Franchisee Meetings and other market events. - Ability to listen, earn trust, and accept direct feedback from franchisees while building strong, positive relationships. Your Expertise You have a passion for educating stylists on the Great Clips, Inc. brand delivery, and technical systems. You are likely to be towards the middle of your career and looking for a way to promote your personal passion around educating others on cutting hair, customer service, salon operations, and the employer brand. To land this job you will need to demonstrate, and/or possess the following: - Knowledge and support of the Great Clips technical and operating systems; ability to explain the rationale and foundation for the system. - Ability to effectively and consistently deliver training sessions using the facilitator materials related to Great Clips Blended Academy, Blended LEADS, and Blended Coaching Academy training sessions and other workshops as required. - Ability to complete training using a virtual platform such as Zoom. Knowledge of all training-related functions within the platform, such as: chat, annotations, breakout rooms, polls, and applications added to enhance the training experience. - Proven interpersonal skills to maintain collaborative virtual training partnerships. Ability to adjust training duties as needed to support virtual partnerships. - Ability to recognize when a participant can successfully demonstrate the material learned in training and provide the ability to provide feedback when necessary. - Ability to establish credibility and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. - Knowledge of and skill in using Microsoft 360 application software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Internet functionality. - Comfortable adapting to technology changes and demands. Willingness to learn updated and integrated virtual training technology, systems, and platforms. - Current cosmetology license with at least 1 year of training/educating experience or salon management experience required. Your Work Environment This is a work from home position and will require reliable, secure internet. - Establish a welcoming virtual training environment equipped with high-speed internet and including space large enough to complete any of the training sessions on the training menu. - Ability to manage approximately 10% travel and work a flexible, full-time schedule, including limited evenings and weekends, is required. - Manage company issued equipment, including care of technology in your possession, maintaining a clean and pressed backdrop, and other items necessary for virtual training that represent the Great Clips brand. Title: Marketing Manager II Location: Bloomington United States Job Description: Salary Range: $99,000 To $115,000 Annually The Opportunity As a Marketing Manager on the Great Clips Marketing Planning Team, you will manage planning, execution, and optimization of market-level marketing programs to achieve salon growth goals in a region of the U.S. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and tactical; comfortable laying out a larger plan, as well as implementing small details with franchisees across 30-40 markets. The role serves as a partner to support and guide franchisee marketing efforts and is in place to lead, inspire, and assist DMA-wide marketing efforts. This position reports to the Director of Marketing Planning and works as part of the Marketing Planning Team, and cross-functionally partners with Operations, Legal, and IT, as well as many agency partners, in support of a multi-million-dollar Ad Fund budget. This position helps to informally lead and support a Marketing Planning Specialist who provides recommendations for new salon openings, incremental, and guerrilla marketing in the same region. Your Mission On your journey, you will face challenges such as: - Develop, execute, and analyze annual strategic ad fund marketing plans in collaboration with assigned markets to address brand measures and drive desired customer count growth and profit objectives using appropriate tools/analysis to support recommendations. - Continually collaborate with marketing planning team members and Operations Managers to guide and influence franchisees, ensuring strong buy-in for successful marketing plans. - Provide analysis and recommendations to support franchisee's ongoing marketing efforts both in new salons (through year two) and existing salon organizations. - Provide recommendations to the Director of Marketing Planning on short-term and long-term ongoing marketing strategies to ensure we are positioned to deliver and leverage desired market-wide and system-wide marketing programs for franchisees. - Coordinate with marketing vendors, agency partners and/or internal resources to provide market-wide media recommendations. - Explore, recommend, negotiate, implement, and analyze new and proven market-wide marketing efforts designed to build overall awareness and drive measurable traffic to salons locations. - Effectively manage the National Ad Fund for 30-40 markets annually. - Establish relationships with franchisees in markets so trust is earned, and collaboration occurs. - Indirectly coach and mentor Marketing Planning Specialists to help build a well-functioning, strategic team. - Frequently present to both small and large co-ops, as well as at other large franchisee meetings. - Ability to listen, earn trust, and accept direct feedback from franchisees while building strong, positive relationships. Your Expertise To land this job you will need to demonstrate, and/or possess the following: - Bachelor's degree is preferred with 8+ years of marketing experience on either client or agency side, or a combination of the two. - Field marketing, multi-unit retail and previous experience working with franchisees is preferred. - Strong analytical abilities and understanding of a franchise business model. - Ability to develop a complete marketing plan with solid financial accountability. - Experience with a mix of traditional and digital marketing channels, and knowledge of creative/branding process at client or agency side preferred. - Knowledge of marketing and advertising principles and practices; ability to apply these principles and practices in the development and communication of marketing/advertising programs. - Experience in planning and managing budgets. - Able to effectively multi-task and manage competing priorities. - Ability to influence decisions using consumer and business insight to drive results. - Customer relations skills, such as the ability to respond with a sense of urgency, and with tact and diplomacy in difficult situations. - Planning skills, such as identifying and sequencing action steps to achieve goals while considering possible risks. - Ability to build effective relationships across all levels, exchanging information freely and dealing well with differences of opinion or confrontation. - Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Excel, Power Point and other financial or reporting platforms. - Able to communicate in both written and verbal form with conviction and credibility, adapting the message to suit level of audience. - Flexibility, a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and excellent problem-solving skills required. - Ability to work independently and with teams. - Ability to mentor and provide leadership to team members.
