• Build scalable algorithms: Contribute to forecasting, pricing, and optimisation solutions that perform across large and complex data sets. • Contribute to technical direction: Take part in design discussions for high-volume data processing. • Collaborate and grow: Work closely with Product, Data, and Delivery teams. • Improve and evolve systems: Help improve the robustness, performance, and scalability of models, workflows, and distributed systems.

• Partner closely with our existing senior engineer to build shared ownership of key platforms and tooling, removing single points of failure across the team • Help improve and expand our AI tooling and frameworks, making them more capable and accessible for the broader Product team • Contribute to ongoing infrastructure and platform initiatives — from standardisation projects to self-service capabilities that reduce friction for internal teams

• Design and deliver scalable algorithms: Develop forecasting, pricing, and optimisation solutions that perform across large and complex data sets. • Lead technical direction: Guide architectural and design decisions for high-volume data processing, ensuring accuracy, explainability, and reliability in production. • Collaborate and mentor: Work closely with Product, Data, and Delivery teams to translate business and market requirements into performant solutions, while mentoring peers through code reviews and knowledge sharing. • Optimise and evolve systems: Improve robustness, performance, and scalability of models, workflows, and distributed systems; contribute reusable components that raise the standard for algorithmic excellence.

• Design and implement algorithms for forecasting, pricing, and optimisation that can scale across markets and data volumes. • Lead technical design discussions and guide architectural decisions for high-volume data processing and modelling. • Translate complex business and energy-market requirements into performant, maintainable, and explainable data solutions. • Improve the robustness, performance, and scalability of existing models and workflows. • Mentor peers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing. • Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Delivery teams to ensure accuracy, usability, and reliability in production. • Contribute to Gorilla’s growing library of reusable components and frameworks that raise the standard for data and algorithmic excellence.

• Lead architectural decisions across the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in high-load, data-heavy environments. • Drive cross-functional technical initiatives that have a broad impact across the product, working closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow Engineers. • Mentor and support other engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices through design reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing. • Design and build distributed systems that handle complex workflows and large volumes of energy data efficiently and securely. • Take ownership of critical components, ensuring they evolve with the needs of the business and maintain a high bar for quality and resilience. • Influence technical direction and culture, helping shape how we build systems and collaborate as a team. • Contribute to strategic planning, helping define roadmaps and long-term technical vision in partnership with engineering and leadership.
