Role Description The Maximo Lead Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Maximo applications for USPS enterprise systems. Key responsibilities include: - Conducting multidisciplinary research and collaborating with engineers and analysts to deliver robust software solutions. - Leading development of algorithms, database design, and integration strategies. - Overseeing developer teams, ensuring software quality, and mitigating risks. - Applying scientific analysis and modeling to optimize system performance and meet user requirements within time and cost constraints. - Creating software development plans and strategies. - Conducting quality control of software development. - Identifying and mitigating risks in the software development process. - Testing sample data-sets to ensure program output works as intended. Task breakdown: - Maximo Development & Customization (30%) – Design, code, and implement Maximo applications, enhancements, and configurations across functional and technical areas. - Algorithm & Database Development (25%) – Develop algorithms and design/optimize relational databases to support performance and scalability. - Software Development Planning (20%) – Create software development plans, technical strategies, and coding standards to guide project execution. - Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing (15%) – Work closely with stakeholders and team members, contributing to solution design and sharing technical expertise. - Research & Problem Solving (10%) – Conduct research on specialized areas, devise solutions to potential issues, and evaluate alternatives. Qualifications - Minimum of 5+ years of experience as Technical Functional resource of IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Software. - IBM Maximo 7.x application configuration and support (e.g., Maximo Integration Framework, Java, and BIRT report writing). - IBM Maximo 7.x installation and upgrade experience. - Experience with Maximo Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer, and Database Configuration applications. - Java and Python programming - Oracle PL/SQL development experience. - Certified Maximo Deployment Professional. Requirements - Familiarity with USPS. - Certified in one Cloud Service Provider. - Maximo 9 Experience. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. - Excellent verbal and communication skills. Role Description Maximo Senior Data Lead responsible for designing and executing data migration strategies for USPS Maximo implementations. Reviews source system architecture and data, identifies required data elements, and develops migration plans. Creates custom migration objects and workflows to import and validate data. Oversees transformation of historical data and ensures alignment with project timelines and dependencies. Supports database performance, integrity, and compliance across multiple platforms and environments. Must be able to work without direct input from USPS staff, while ensuring that outcomes are aligned with USPS vision, mission, and objectives. Role Description This position requires State Licensure as an Electrical Engineer, with preference for Power emphasis. While Colorado is preferred, any duly licensed Electrical Engineer under a State Licensing Board is acceptable. The Licensed Electrical Engineer should have 8 to 10 years' experience in: - General (commercial, light industrial) electrical designs (lighting, power distribution, motor sizing/controls, code compliance – design and safety practices) - Remote, cold-weather designs - Practice knowledge of Power Generation and Distribution - MV/LV design for various occupancy buildings and support facilities Provide coverage for the Program Electrical Engineer until a permanent employee can be onboarded. This is a critical position to the Engineering Support Team who provide competent, licensed design/discipline professionals. Responsibilities include: - Define electrical engineering basis of design based on the USAP Building Code and discipline specific codes and standards including NFPA 70, 70E, NESC. - Develop conceptual, preliminary, detailed, and approved for construction documents. - Respond, in writing, to Client and their subcontractor's comments at various design stages. - Work with Facilities Management and their Facility Engineers and Tradespeople on Design Engineering Estimating Requests (DEER). - Collaborate with Project Managers on delivery of basis of design and drawing packages. - Address requests for information related to AFC drawings with Construction Managers. - Define unique quality assurance requirements with Quality Assurance team. - Ensure compliance with safety rules and environmental agreements. - Provide oversight of Coordination and Arc Flash studies. - Deliver written communication and documentation vetted for use by the subcontractor. - Communicate attendance to various corroboration, coordination, and communication meetings.
