Role Description We’re looking for a Psychometrician to join us as a part-time, ongoing consultant. This role combines strategic advisory with hands-on work, ensuring our assessment methodologies are scientifically sound, fair, and compliant with professional and legal standards. You’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering to validate and improve our AI-driven assessment systems. What You’ll Do - Evaluate and improve candidate assessment frameworks; - Design and run validation studies (criterion-related, construct, content validity); - Establish and monitor reliability metrics (e.g., internal consistency, test-retest); - Ensure AI-driven scoring aligns with psychometric best practices; - Audit algorithms for bias, fairness, and adverse impact; - Support calibration and continuous improvement of ranking models; - Ensure alignment with EEOC, APA, and SIOP standards; - Conduct adverse impact analyses and assess subgroup differences; - Recommend and implement bias mitigation strategies; - Define and track key measurement KPIs (validity, reliability, fairness); - Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights; - Prepare documentation for audits, certification, and external validation. Qualifications - Master’s or PhD in Psychometrics, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Statistics, or a related field; - 5+ years of experience in assessment validation, ideally in hiring or talent assessment; - Strong knowledge of Item Response Theory (IRT) and/or Classical Test Theory (CTT); - Experience designing and executing validation studies; - Hands-on experience with adverse impact and fairness analysis; - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; - Ability to work independently in a remote, flexible environment; - Clear communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders. They are looking for a talented, innovative and creative Golang Developer to join the platform team. Their Software Engineering team is responsible for building out SaaS solutions used by educational organizations across the globe. The team works on a wide variety of projects, solving existing problems and enabling new business objectives. Their platform is evolving, so you need to be someone who can build new functionality and learn new technologies quickly as well as be able to maintain and extend existing code to support organizational needs. As a Senior Golang Engineer, you will: - Develop new features, components, and modules to support organizational growth; - Implement a robust set of services and APIs to power high-trafficked SaaS platform; - Participate in planning, analysis, and design of new software solutions; - Investigate, troubleshoot, and remedy performance bottlenecks in the application flow; - Learn new technologies and keep up with both traditional and emerging best practices; - Work independently and collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications - Senior level knowledge of Golang; - 8+ years of production experience in software engineering and SaaS product development; - Strong communication and listening skills; ability to communicate complex technical problems, root cause analysis, and propose solutions; - At least Upper-intermediate level of English (B2 or higher); - Experience with designing and building scalable solutions; - Experience with modern design patterns such as SOA and microservice architecture; - Strong knowledge of relational databases (ex. PostgreSQL) and Databricks (a plus); - Excellent debugging and testing skills, and an interest to quickly learn new technologies; - Experience with Agile methodology and software development; - Commitment to following security, accessibility and performance best practices; - Self-starter with strong sense of collaboration, teamwork, and accountability; - Ability to quickly adopt to new environment; - Working knowledge of AWS and familiarity with its services (Kubernetes, Redis, SQS/SNS, etc.); - Experience using AI developer tools (e.g., Codex) is a plus.
