Role Description The Portfolio Manager – PMO & IT Governance is responsible for establishing and leading the organization’s Portfolio Management practice, ensuring technology initiatives are strategically aligned, effectively prioritized, and successfully delivered. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and implementing portfolio frameworks, governance, and best practices, while actively managing the portfolio end-to-end. - Define portfolio structures, prioritization criteria, and performance metrics. - Oversee execution, risks, and outcomes. - Enable transparent, data-driven decision-making. - Strengthen governance, support strategic planning and resource prioritization. - Drive continuous improvement of portfolio processes. Main Roles & Responsibilities - Portfolio Performance Management - Monitor and steer portfolio performance across cost, value, risk, and delivery. - Ensure the completeness and currency of project and portfolio reporting. - Validate portfolio-level reporting and notify senior leadership of availability. - Present accurate views of project progress, health, risks, and ongoing challenges. - Manage portfolio and project processes to maximize throughput of selected projects. - Strategic Portfolio Alignment & Prioritization - Align and prioritize the portfolio with organizational strategic objectives. - Support prioritization based on impact, strategic value, and resource availability. - Assist business and technology leaders in articulating and shaping new project ideas (intake). - Forecast future resource capacity and report on current resource utilization. - Cross-Initiative Dependency & Risk Management - Identify, assess, and manage dependencies and risks across initiatives. - Coordinate mitigations and escalations, integrating impacts into portfolio decisions. - PMO Development & Project Governance - Strengthen project management standards, methodologies, and governance across the portfolio. - Establish clear processes for intake, prioritization, reporting, and evaluation. - Provide guidance and support to project managers and ensure consistent documentation and performance tracking. - IT Governance & Decision Support - Support governance for technology investments and project approvals. - Prepare portfolio reports, dashboards, and briefings for leadership decisions. - Facilitate governance meetings and ensure follow-up on decisions and actions. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance and strategic planning practices. - Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with technology leaders, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. - Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between technology teams and business units. - Represent the PMO in steering committees and PMO forums; promote portfolio and project management best practices. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in project and/or portfolio management within technology/IT environments. - Demonstrated ability to manage a technology portfolio, including prioritization, dependency and risk management, and benefit/value tracking. - Strong financial and analytical skills for portfolio performance (cost, value, risk, delivery) and resource capacity planning. - Proficiency with portfolio and reporting tools (e.g., a PPM solution such as MS Project/Project Online or equivalent, ClickUp/Azure DevOps, and Power BI/Excel for dashboards). - Solid understanding of project/portfolio governance frameworks and the ability to implement standards across teams. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, including presenting to senior leadership. - High attention to detail with a disciplined approach to data quality and reporting accuracy. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Market Development Officer

Role Description We are looking for an engaged Market Development Officer who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment. The Market Development Officer will undertake market development across various value chains by driving Chain-of-Custody (COC) certification, Promotional License Agreements (PLA), and increasing FSC brand awareness in B2B and B2C market segments in the region. - Drive sub‑regional market and value chain development across forest product sectors. - Build and manage relationships with key accounts, Certificate Holders, and Promotional Licence partners. - Grow Chain of Custody (CoC) certification and Promotional Licence Holders in line with targets. - Manage CoC enquiries, certification body coordination, and e‑training platforms. - Monitor market trends and conduct targeted market analysis. - Develop and deploy marketing and communications materials in line with brand guidelines. - Deliver campaigns, events, digital content, and sub‑regional website updates in collaboration with international and regional teams. - Administer Promotional Licence Agreements, including approvals, pricing, invoicing, renewals, and CRM management. - Prepare quarterly market development and communications reports. - Engage governments, private sector, and civil society to stimulate demand for FSC certification and support policy integration into public procurement. Qualifications - University degree or equivalent training or experience in a relevant field, for example, marketing, communications, business studies. - At least 4 years of professional experience in marketing or sales for highly respected organisation(s), with executive level client-facing experience. - Commercial orientation: understanding of private sector buying patterns and commercial value propositions. - Some knowledge of Sustainability Certification Systems (e.g. FSC, Fairtrade, Fair wild, MSC, Better Cotton, Rain Forest Alliance). - Marketing/Communications/Sales Planning and reporting. - Good time management: Ability to drive results within agreed timelines and handle simultaneous functions and stakeholder interests. - Solution oriented attitude to work. - Natural and highly effective collaborator with ability to drive results through teamwork. - Demonstrate good engagement and networking skills. - Excellent command of English (spoken and written). - Proficiency in another language for example French and other local languages is a plus. - Exemplary verbal and written communication skills that create cohesive team efforts and support decision making. - The ability to facilitate interactive discussions and maintain positive interpersonal relations. - Good skills in the use of/experience with standard software packages (MS Office). - Social media posting. - Creative design e.g. Canva, PowerPoint. - Experience (basic) with Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce. - Website content platform upload experience.
