Title: Water Resource Design - Project Manager Location: San Antonio United States Job Description: Freese and Nichols is currently searching for a highly motivated, well-rounded Project Manager in our Water Resources Design Division. This position requires an experienced engineer to serve as a project manager in the field of water resources and heavy civil projects with an emphasis on dams and levees. This person will be responsible for leading site inspections and the analysis, design, and preparation of technical reports, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates. You will work independently as well as plan and supervise work of teams of professionals and technicians in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. Interest and ability to supervise, coach and mentor staff is strongly desired. The position involves client interaction and a commitment to client service. The position also encompasses business development activities, including proposal preparation, client visits, and marketing activities. Title: Site Civil Engineer Location: Denton, Texas Lubbock, Texas Houston, Texas Charlotte, North Carolina Austin, Texas Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Job Description: Freese and Nichols is currently searching for a Site Civil Engineer to join our team in our Houston, TX, Austin, TX, Denton, TX, Lubbock, TX or Charlotte, NC office. Site Civil is housed within the Urban Planning+Design Group alongside urban planning and landscape architecture and provides site civil support across multiple engineering practices within Freese and Nichols as well as external clients. In this role, you will develop construction documents and perform calculations for federal, state, municipal, and commercial clients for projects including: generating paving and dimensional control plans, performing stormwater system calculations and generating the plans and profiles, and generating overall and detailed grading plans for projects.
