Role Description As a Franchise Specialist, you’ll serve as the very first touchpoint for individuals exploring franchise ownership. Your role is structured, consultative, and highly relational. You’ll guide leads through 10–15 minute introductory conversations that uncover their goals, motivations, financial readiness, and expectations while helping them feel confident, supported, and clear on next steps. This is not a closing role. It’s a professional guidance role rooted in active listening, emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead someone through an important decision-making process with calm confidence. You’ll ensure clients are qualified for the Sidekick process, normalize financial conversations, handle early questions or objections with empathy, and ultimately schedule them for an Advisor Call — the next step in their journey. In this role, you will work on: - Sales Qualification & Client Connection (40%) - Conduct structured discovery calls that uncover a client’s goals, motivations, timelines, experience, and investment readiness. - Set clear expectations for what franchise exploration looks like with Sidekick. - Professionally and confidently discuss liquidity, investment ranges, and financial preparedness. - Establish trust quickly through warm tone, clarity, and a human, conversational approach. - Call Volume Management & Outreach (30%) - Make 50–100 outbound calls daily to self-qualified leads (no cold calling). - Maintain high call quality, consultative flow, and consistent booking performance. - Navigate objections while staying composed, empathetic, and in control of the conversation. - Pipeline Management & Handoff Support (20%) - Document call notes in HubSpot with accuracy and detail. - Track lead progress and ensure seamless movement toward an Advisor Call. - Support Advisors with scheduling and rescheduling when needed. - Process Improvement & Team Collaboration (10%) - Share insights that help shape a better lead experience and stronger team results. - Collaborate with Specialists, Advisors, and leadership on continuous improvement. - Maintain discipline, consistency, and follow-through in a high-volume role. Qualifications - Are naturally curious and love meaningful conversations that uncover goals, motivations, and deeper insights. - Have exceptional verbal communication skills and can create a warm, confident, trust-building tone from the first minute. - Can follow a structured process without sounding scripted — you’re conversational, human, and adaptable. - Are comfortable discussing liquidity, investment levels, and financial readiness in a professional, normalizing way. - Stay composed under pressure and handle objections with empathy, clarity, and steady control. - Have experience in consultative sales, customer success, franchise development, or other client-facing roles. - Are emotionally intelligent and pick up on tone shifts, hesitations, and emotional cues. - Bring daily discipline, grit, and resilience to high-volume, back-to-back client conversations. - Are highly organized, coachable, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through. - Enjoy being outcome-focused and understand that your primary goal is guiding leads to the next step: the Advisor Call. - Value collaboration and enjoy supporting teammates to improve the overall lead experience. - Are comfortable using CRM tools like HubSpot and managing multiple conversations at various stages. - Enjoy working in a high-accountability, high-reward environment where your success is measured by both client outcomes and sales performance. - Believe in the power of business ownership and are excited about helping others explore a new path to freedom and fulfillment. - Are highly organized, internally motivated, and thrive in a goal-driven, accountability-focused team. - Enjoy being part of a purpose-driven company where your work directly contributes to our brand, mission, and growth. Benefits - You Control Your Compensation - We offer a base salary and commission on every converted call and won deal. - Paid Time Off - Every Sidekick starts with 16 days of PTO, two floating holidays, and a paid volunteer day annually. We also offer nine paid company holidays each year as well. Team Members earn additional PTO for each year of employment. - Franchise Ownership Program - After you're established with Sidekick, we offer a Franchise Purchase Discount which allows you to own your own Franchise Business at a $30,000 to $50,000 savings. Some restrictions and minimum qualifications apply to the discount. - Client Referral Commission - We encourage every member of Team Sidekick to utilize their network to find qualified candidates for franchise ownership. We pay $3,000 for every qualified lead you submit that ends up purchasing a franchise. - Full Medical Benefits with up to $750 monthly Employer Contribution (depending on plan type and level). - Employer Paid Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance ($0 cost to employees with options for family coverage). - Optional Health Savings Account, Supplemental Insurance, and Cybersecurity Coverage. - 401k with 3% Employer Contribution (no match required). - Home Office Stipend For Remote Workers. - $1,500 Annual Best Self Stipend for professional and personal development.
