Role Description As a staff engineer at Foxen, you will be a technical co-founder of our next chapter. You will pioneer the development of our next AI-powered revenue stream while establishing the technical foundation and engineering standards that will define Foxen's future. This is not a traditional engineering role; you will be an architect, innovator, and technical leader who turns ambitious vision into market-defining products. You will partner closely with Product leadership to transform ideas into intelligent, scalable solutions that leverage AI to unlock new value for our customers. Top Impact Areas - AI Powered Innovation & Product Development - Design and build Foxen's next-generation AI-powered product line from the ground up. - Partner with Product to define technical feasibility, architecture, and implementation strategy for AI-driven features. - Establish best practices for responsible AI development, including model selection, evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement. - Build intelligent systems that leverage our existing platform while creating entirely new capabilities. - Engineering Excellence & Team Elevation - Set the standard for engineering excellence in leveraging AI across the organization through exemplary code, documentation, and technical decision-making. - Mentor and elevate engineers at all levels, accelerating their growth and expanding their technical capabilities. - Champion engineering best practices, including automated testing, observability, security, and operational excellence. - Advise and support various internal AI driven efforts across Foxen. - Build cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Product, and Business teams on complex initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Lead the technical design and implementation of Foxen's next AI-powered revenue stream, from concept through production deployment. - Partner directly with the Technology and Product leadership to translate business strategy into technical execution plans. - Design distributed systems and APIs that are performant, secure, scalable, and maintainable at enterprise scale. - Architect solutions that extend our existing Azure-based platform while introducing cutting-edge AI capabilities. - Establish technical patterns, frameworks, and standards that enable the broader engineering team to move faster and leverage AI with more confidence. - Drive technical due diligence for major initiatives, identifying risks and opportunities that impact timelines and outcomes. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization. - Lead critical production incidents and drive post-incident learning to improve system resilience. - Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact features, from technical design through deployment and monitoring. - Build relationships with key technology partners and vendors to accelerate innovation. Qualifications - 10+ years of software engineering experience building production systems at scale. - Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture (Azure strongly preferred), and microservices patterns. - Proven track record of prototyping and successfully shipping 0-to-1 products or major features that drove significant business outcomes. - Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, embeddings, RAG architectures, or AI agent frameworks. - Strong proficiency in C#, SQL Server and .NET ecosystem, with full-stack expertise across modern web applications. - Expert-level understanding of API design, data modeling, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing. - Experience with observability, monitoring, and building highly reliable systems with excellent operational characteristics. - Deep knowledge of security best practices, particularly in regulated industries or handling sensitive data. - Excellence in technical communication—able to articulate complex tradeoffs clearly in writing and presentations. - Track record of mentoring engineers and elevating team capabilities through technical leadership. Role Description As Director of Revenue Operations & Revenue Technology, you’ll own Foxen’s go-to-market systems, data, and AI-powered workflows to help our teams win more business, faster, and with greater predictability. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for designing, operating, and continuously improving the technology and intelligence that power Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Insurance Solutions with a relentless focus on revenue growth and efficiency. You’ll act as the architect and operator of Foxen’s revenue engine, embedding AI into daily workflows to increase sales velocity, improve conversion, and eliminate manual friction that slows deals down, while ensuring our teams have accurate, actionable data to close and expand more effectively. This role combines strategic ownership with day-to-day execution and will lead an existing team that scales in 2026 as we deliver on our AI road map in direct support of revenue growth and forecast reliability. Key Responsibilities - Own the strategy and execution of Foxen’s go-to-market technology stack (Salesforce, Pardot, Braze, ZoomInfo, Gong, Gong Engage & Propensity/ABM platform). - Serve as system owner and hands-on administrator for Salesforce and Gong, ensuring strong adoption, data quality, and a disciplined operating cadence. - Design, deploy, and continuously improve AI-powered workflows for lead prioritization, routing, forecasting, deal insights, and engagement; acting as the champion to identify new tech or build in-house solutions to help us scale. - Orchestrate data across Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Finance into a single source of truth. - Build and maintain integrations using iPaaS tools and/or custom development (APIs, workflows, scripts, webhooks). - Partner closely with Sales leadership, Relationship Management, Customer Operations, Marketing, Product, and Engineering. - Reduce manual “swivel-chair” work through automation, validation rules, and enrichment processes. - Lead and develop an existing Revenue Operations / Revenue Technology team while remaining a hands-on owner of systems, workflows, and execution. - Translate business needs into scalable systems, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. - Lead or contribute to cross-functional operations initiatives as needed to support company-wide growth and efficiency goals. Qualifications - 5-8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Revenue Technology roles. - 1-3+ years of experience leading and developing a team, with a hands-on, player-coach approach. - Experience designing and maintaining document generation and contract workflows (e.g., Conga) within Salesforce. - Extensive hands-on expertise with Salesforce and managing a modern go-to-market tech stack. - Experience applying AI (Agentforce), automation, or advanced analytics to real-world revenue workflows. - Strong systems mindset with comfort working across integrations, APIs, and data flows.
