Role Description As a Pharmacy Technician at Forus, you will be a critical link between our platform and the pharmacies we work with. You'll bring your operational expertise to resolve pharmacy-side issues, support our on-staff pharmacists, and help ensure patients get timely access to their medications. This is a high-touch, problem-solving role where your knowledge of pharmacy workflows, insurance adjudication, and drug information directly improves outcomes for providers and patients at scale. This is a demanding role with real ownership. You'll operate with significant autonomy and be expected to drive issues to resolution, not just flag them. If you're low-ego, detail-oriented, and motivated by work that has a direct impact on patient care, we want to hear from you. - Serve as a primary point of contact for pharmacy partners, resolving issues that arise around prescription processing, claims, and patient access. - Support and collaborate with Forus staff pharmacists on complex or escalated cases. - Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state, federal, and company policies. - Contribute to improving internal workflows, flagging recurring issues, and helping build more reliable, scalable processes over time. Qualifications - Active PTCB or ExCPT certification and licensure as a pharmacy technician in the state of Idaho, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date. - 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with strong familiarity with prescription workflows, third-party billing, and claims adjudication. - Experience working with pharmacy systems and comfort navigating drug and patient databases. - Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can explain complex pharmacy issues clearly. - Comfort working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and clinical colleagues in a fast-moving environment. - Prior experience as a pharmacy tech. Prior authorization support and patient access workflows is a strong plus. Requirements - This is a list of ideal qualifications for this position. If you don't meet every single one of them, you should still consider applying! - We’re excited to work with people from underrepresented backgrounds, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply. Benefits - Competitive compensation with meaningful equity (for full-time employees). - Fully covered medical, vision, and dental insurance. - Memberships for One Medical, Talkspace, Teladoc, and Kindbody. - Unlimited paid time off (PTO) and 16 weeks of parental leave. - 401K plan setup, FSA option, commuter benefits, and DashPass. - Lunch at the office every day and Dinner at the office after 7 pm.
