Title: General Manager Services Location: Sydney Olympic Park, Australia Job Description: Flourish Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as a General Manager, Services! - Attractive remuneration package inclusive of 12% superannuation + Tax-Free Salary Packaging! - Closed-term full-time (5 years) - Based at our Support Hub in Sydney Olympic Park, with flexible hybrid working arrangements and travel required About the Opportunity The General Manager, Services holds responsibility for leading and expanding Flourish Australia's person-led, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented mental health services. This position plays a critical role in driving the organisation's ongoing growth, particularly across services funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme, government contracts, and employment initiatives. The General Manager, Services is responsible for; - Managing delivery of Flourish Australia mental health services in the areas specified, ensuring delivery of the highest possible levels of recovery-based services which are also in accordance with relevant regulations and funding agency standards and agreement. - Recruiting and supporting managers and other frontline staff to ensure that they are skilled and capable of delivering services to the required, professional standard. - Managing financial and physical resources effectively, ensuring that services are delivered within budget and timeframes. - Working with the COO, seek out and assess new and innovative work solutions to enhance the opportunities of accessing Flourish Australias services and staff members. - In conjunction with the Senior Leadership team, to expand Flourish Australias services, including new expressions of interest and tenders for government funded programs and brokerage agreements with other non-government agencies. - Ensure that services are timely, cost-effective, good quality and provide a range of accessible options for people with lived experience of mental health issues. Monitor effectiveness of services and satisfaction levels, and the achievement of service quality indicator targets, and respond promptly when change is needed. Selection Criteria Essential - Extensive experience in a mental health or relevant sector, including at least 10-years relevant experience demonstrated through senior appointments, service delivery leadership, study, and/or a diploma or degree in behavioural sciences, health or a related discipline. - Strong, demonstrated leadership and change management skills. - Demonstrated commitment to human rights, mental health recovery and trauma informed supports in service delivery. - Demonstrated experience in being an influential and strategic thinker, analysing situations and issues, and identifying and evaluating options and developing innovative and creative solutions. - Demonstrated senior experience managing human, financial and other resources to deliver against government and commercial contracts, funding agreements and agreed performance outcomes. - Demonstrated specialist knowledge and experience in employment services, commercial contract management, government contract management and delivery of NDIS programs. - Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage ambiguity and challenges of organisational decision-making. - Outstanding communication, influencing and negotiating skills with an ability to communicate clearly, sensitively and convincingly with diverse audiences to achieve a common understanding and promote desired ends. Desirable - Maintain a current drivers licence. - A lived experience of a personal mental health challenge or a Carer of a person with a lived experience of a mental health challenge.
