Role Description Are you passionate about helping youth and families overcome challenges and build stronger futures? We are seeking a Full-Time Clinical Therapist who is excited to make a real difference in the lives of youth ages 11–18 and their families through intensive, community-based therapy. Our therapists work closely with families in their homes, providing powerful interventions designed to strengthen relationships, improve outcomes, and keep youth successfully connected to their families and communities. This role is ideal for clinicians who thrive in a collaborative environment, believe in the strength and resilience of families, and want to see the direct impact of their work every day. What You’ll Do - Maintain a manageable caseload of no more than 12 families - Provide home-based therapy to youth and families throughout the service area - Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each family’s needs - Work with youth who may be: - At risk of out-of-home placement - Experiencing significant behavioral challenges - Involved with the juvenile justice system - Collaborate with a supportive therapy team, including: - Weekly team meetings - Individual supervision - Help families access community resources and support services - Document case progress and communicate with relevant stakeholders - Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development Qualifications - Strong ability to engage youth and families - A strengths-based perspective - Comfort shifting between clinical insight and practical problem-solving - Passion for advocating for youth and families - Confidence working with families in their homes - Flexibility to meet families when they are available - A deep belief in the capacity for growth and change - Strong self-awareness and commitment to self-care - Appreciation for team collaboration and supportive systems - Cultural humility and the ability to connect authentically and respectfully Requirements - Direct experience using evidence-based family therapy models - Individual therapy with youth and adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - Family therapy using behaviorally based approaches - Behavioral therapy targeting school behavior and academic performance - Implementing interventions across systems that influence youth behavior, including: - Family - School - Peer relationships - Community environments Preferred Knowledge - Family Systems Theory - Social-Ecological Theory - Behavioral therapy theory and application - Cognitive-behavioral therapy theory and application - Pragmatic family therapies - Child development research and its application in treatment - Social skills assessment and intervention - Basic counseling and clinical process skills Education Requirements - Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field Benefits - Small, manageable caseloads so you can focus on quality care - Opportunity to deliver meaningful, evidence-based treatment - Collaborative team environment with strong supervision and support - Ongoing training and professional development - The chance to see real transformation in youth and families
