Empyrean Solutions

• Lead the design and build-out of Empyrean's data platform that powers risk management, performance management, and regulatory compliance solutions for financial institutions • Architect the end-to-end data lifecycle supporting critical banking functions from ALM and liquidity stress testing to profitability analysis and CECL calculations • Scale the platform from millions of rows monthly today to 100M+ rows daily • Maintain sub-second query response across all scales • Lead the data platform team (3 Data Engineers, 1 BI Developer, 2 Business Analysts) • Design scalable Lake House Platform supporting ALM, liquidity, profitability, and planning products • Drive centralized governance with decentralized product creation through a common data model • Lead Databricks/Snowflake implementations and partner with risk and performance product teams on data modeling • Architect for 100x+ growth over 2-3 years and support a diverse range of banking institutions • Build self-service capabilities for risk analysts, finance teams, and treasury users

• Deliver successful implementations of Empyrean's Profitability Solutions, taking clients from project initiation through go-live on a well-configured, sustainable model. • Translate each client's profitability objectives and reporting needs into an implementation approach their team can own and maintain. • Ensure profitability dimensions, hierarchies, and allocation logic are configured to produce accurate, decision-ready results, including capital, ACL, and provision allocations. • Ensure client data supporting profitability is complete, reconciled, and reliable as the foundation for reporting. • Enable clients to produce and trust their profitability reporting across customer, instrument, product, and organizational views. • Equip clients to independently administer the solution and build their own reporting through effective training and knowledge transfer. • Advise clients on best practices for data management, reporting, and profitability measurement. • Serve as a liaison between the client user community and Empyrean's product management team, channeling client needs into product direction. • Apply AI-assisted tools and repeatable processes to deliver value more efficiently and consistently, and contribute to improving those processes over time. • Safeguard sensitive customer data by following all applicable policies and controls and using approved channels for data transmission. • Perform other job duties and assignments as needed and directed.
