• Own a book of enterprise accounts: onboarding, QBRs, health monitoring, renewals, and expansion • Build and refine CS artifacts — playbooks, templates, onboarding sequences, QBR frameworks • Interpret usage data to proactively surface risk and opportunity — not just report on it • Run executive business reviews with VP/C-suite stakeholders at pharma and research organizations • Design scaled programs (training series, cohort onboarding, champion networks) as the customer base grows
• Backend implementation of our "living document" • Building Elicit into a product researchers can’t live without • Keeping Elicit’s bar for quality high • You’ll contribute to discussions around system design, performance evaluation, and architecture.
• Lead machine-learning based projects from concept through launch. You’ll lead the team’s approach toward new functionality and improvements in Elicit by setting the product vision, generating and validating solutions, and evolving experiences to have the greatest possible impact. You’ll drive projects end-to-end, from prototype to implementation to later iteration. • Solving Elicit’s toughest product challenges. You will rarely (if ever) start with a defined product project at Elicit. You’ll get to work across functions to push the progression of the product and shape how Elicit works. We need you to think through intuitive, focused product solutions to help our users get the most accurate and relevant information out of Elicit. • Embodying the voice of our users. You’ll work with the team to develop a deep understanding of users’ behaviors, drive user research, and leverage that information into hypotheses and design experiments that guide us toward the best user outcomes. • Ensuring the success of new Elicit features. You’ll work closely with the Head of Product, our CEO, and our team of engineers, ML engineers and designers to define the product strategy & roadmap, define success metrics for new features and improvements to Elicit, ensure high-quality implementation, and ship at a high velocity.
• You'll build a comprehensive system that runs fast, is easy to use, and supports quickly building new evals: • Speed: You’ll build a lightning-fast basic evals infrastructure that schedules tasks to introduce practically no latency; and then you’ll figure out clever ways to solve the fundamental sources of latency (building a version of Elicit, running it on a query, and evaluating it using LMs) • Interfaces: ML engineers need evals to kick off automatically on relevant commits, with results they can see at a glance and drill into. Product managers need dashboards showing performance over time and what's going wrong in production. • Architecture: Your code must be well-architected so other team members and ML engineers can understand and build on it. An engineer starting on a new feature should be able to quickly add examples and run an eval. • We need to evaluate how well Elicit actually helps with decision-making in pharma, not just measure what's easy to measure. This requires encoding real knowledge about how pharma customers make decisions (for example, choosing appropriate gold standards). • You'll provide appropriate statistical tests and confidence intervals so we can trust our results. • In a typical month, expect to spend: • 60% working on the core eval platform • 15% working closely with the evals team to build and improve specific evals (e.g., an eval of our paper search within our systematic review flow) • 10% mentoring our evals engineering intern • The rest on learning how people interact with the eval system so you can make it work better for them, and understanding what our users want from Elicit so evals measure what matters
• Recruit, coach, and lead a team of Account Executives, building a high-performing enterprise sales function from the ground up. • Drive end-to-end large enterprise deal execution, personally closing strategic accounts while mentoring reps to do the same. • Own forecasting, pipeline, and operations, ensuring predictable revenue and actionable insights for leadership. • Scale systems and processes, including territory design, deal review cadence, and a repeatable enterprise sales playbook. • Identify and prioritize opportunities, translating market and customer insights into actionable strategy. • Foster a culture of development, supporting the growth and skill-building of your team.
• Build Elicit's field marketing function from the ground up, establishing strategy, processes, and measurement frameworks • Partner with sales teams to understand segment priorities, account needs, and revenue targets, translating them into actionable field marketing plans • Plan, execute, and measure field marketing programs including targeted account activities, industry campaigns, webinars, executive dinners, and conferences • Create and refine processes for end-to-end event management, from pre-event planning through post-event follow-up and performance analysis • Design and execute follow-up campaigns, nurture programs, and field-specific sales enablement activities • Establish reporting and analytics to track program performance and demonstrate impact on pipeline and revenue • Build relationships across the organization to ensure alignment and drive cross-functional collaboration • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to drive engagement with life sciences companies and academic research institutions
