Role Description We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Remote Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate our company's supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Develop, implement, and monitor logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency - Coordinate transportation and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products - Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and freight forwarders - Oversee inventory management and order fulfillment processes - Analyze logistics data and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement - Ensure compliance with all transportation and safety regulations - Track and manage shipping costs and negotiate rates with service providers - Resolve any logistical issues that arise during transit or delivery - Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to synchronize operations - Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities Qualifications - Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely - Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards - Analytical mindset with attention to detail Requirements - Experience with international shipping and customs procedures - Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar - Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management tools Work Environment This is a remote position offering flexibility in working hours.
