Role Description As a consultant at Dataleaps, you’ll be part of a highly collaborative, down-to-earth team that values curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning. We are seeking a Senior Data & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team as a consultant. In this role, you will work on high-impact projects for one of the largest retail companies in the Netherlands, contributing to the development of scalable data and infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and thrives in collaborative environments. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain scalable data and infrastructure solutions - Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles - Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions - Translate business needs into robust technical implementations - Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of data systems - Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes - Provide clear insights into technical decisions and their business value Qualifications - Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform - Solid background in data engineering and infrastructure design - Experience working in product-driven environments - Ability to work independently in a remote setup Soft Skills - Excellent communication skills - Strong team player with a collaborative mindset - Proactive, “can-do” attitude with out-of-the-box thinking - Focus on delivering value and practical solutions - Positive and constructive approach to teamwork Contract Details - Contract role (external/consultant) - Remote work possible
