Role Description Designial is looking for a Lead WordPress SRE & Developer for the long-term maintenance and enhancement of a high-traffic web application. We are seeking a roots.io specialist with deep experience in both infrastructure-as-code and backend development. You will serve as the technical lead for an initial 16-month engagement (extendable). This is a dual-focus role involving system stabilization and high-availability maintenance (SRE) alongside the development of three major functional enhancements. Qualifications - Expert proficiency in automated provisioning and encrypted vaulting (Trellis/Ansible). - Senior-level dependency management and folder structure standards (Bedrock/Composer). - Proven experience managing sites within Kinsta’s specific deployment constraints. - Ability to meet a 1-hour P1 Response/Containment window during PST business hours (SLA Discipline). - Strong PHP/MySQL skills for building API integrations and data-driven dashboards. - Experience ensuring WCAG 2.0 AA compliance. Requirements - Compensation structure: - Enhancements/Development: $50-55 - SRE/Maintenance: $60-70 - Due to project data sovereignty and security requirements, candidates must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR).
