Dark Wolf is looking for a Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the development and maintenance of Networks on Google Cloud (formally GCP). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), adhere to cloud security best practices, and promote a culture of security through the implementation of DevSecOps principles. You will be able to work well within a larger team more broadly focused on defining and building robust cloud infrastructure in accordance with NIST 800-53, and other industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks. This position is expected to be supported primarily remotely. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain complex networks using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform - Develop network architecture diagram using tools such as LucidCharts - Implement security best practices for network security on Google Cloud - Collaborate with cybersecurity experts in support of Authorization to Operate (ATO) engagements - Stay up-to-date on the latest Google Cloud services and technologies - Work collaboratively within a fast paced Agile team environment Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience - 1+ years of experience in cloud computing - 1+ years of experience with Google Cloud - 3+ years of experience with Networking - Experience with Palo Alto NGFW - Experience with Google Cloud NGFW - Experience with Terraform Preferred Qualifications: - At least one Google Cloud Professional Certification - Experience working within Agile teams - Experience working with customers in the U.S. Public Sector - U.S. Federal Government security clearance - Experience with DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies - Familiarity with Assured Workloads / Data Boundaries within Google Cloud This position will be a remote/hybrid role based out of multiple hubs including: Herndon, VA, Tampa, FL, Huntsville, AL, Colorado Springs, CO, Ogden, UT, and Omaha, NE. The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $150,000.00 - $180,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset. Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to help maintain the security of the BMC3 Application Factory in support of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA). This role is responsible for automating the deployment of security solutions, that will monitor multiple remote environments and report findings to security management. This team will be supported at a remote capacity out of any of our Dark Wolf main locations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Designing, testing, and implementing secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, tuning and management of IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions. Conducting risk and vulnerability assessment at the network, system and application level. Conducting threat modeling exercises. Developing and implementing security controls and formulating operational risk mitigations along with assisting in security awareness programs. Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Researching, evaluating and recommending new security tools, techniques, and technologies and introducing them to the enterprise in alignment with IT security strategy. Utilizing COTS/GOTS and custom tools and processes/procedures in order to scan, identify, contain, mitigate and remediate vulnerabilities, and intrusions. Assisting in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and making recommendations on process tailoring. Performing analyses to validate established security requirements and recommending additional security requirements and safeguards. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with Deployment and Maintenance of Cyber Security solutions within a DoD Environment 3+ years of experience utilizing the Risk Management Framework in support of obtaining a Authority to Operate 1+ years of experience of IaC and CaC development with Terraform and Ansible Hands-on with eGRC tools like: eMASS, XACTA, RSA Archer, etc. Experience with Space Force risk management policies/procedures, to include, Fast Track ATO Handbook & AF Continuous ATO Playbook Ability to clearly articulate ideas for executive level consumption Ability  to use prior experience and knowledge to address new situations; especially during interactions with clients Ability  to use prior experience and knowledge to seamlessly incorporate new knowledge or information during client interactions Must have IAT II Certification B.A. or B.S. Information Security, Computer Science  or related discipline US Citizenship and an active Secret Security Clearance Desired Qualifications: Previous experience supporting Department of Defense Experience evaluating information security compliance against STIGs This position will be a remote/hybrid role based out of multiple hubs including: Cape Canaveral, FL, Tampa, FL, Herndon, VA, Huntsville, AL, Colorado Springs, CO, Ogden, UT, and Omaha, NE. The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $145,000.00 - $170,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset. We are strictly looking for direct, full-time W2 employees.
