Position Overview We are seeking an accomplished Director to join our growing Healthcare Industry Consulting practice. This senior-level role is central to meeting increased client demand across project management, integration initiatives, and end-to-end client delivery. The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, an integrator across complex multi-stakeholder engagements, and a people leader who elevates team performance. The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare industry knowledge paired with a proven record in professional services — someone equally comfortable in an executive setting as in the weeds of execution, capable of driving integration or performance improvement strategies while delivering measurable outcomes for clients. Key Responsibilities Client Delivery & Engagement Leadership - Lead and oversee complex, multi-stakeholder consulting engagements from scoping through delivery, ensuring quality outcomes aligned with client objectives. - Serve as the primary client relationship owner for key accounts, building trust and long-term partnership at the executive level. - Develop and present strategic recommendations, project roadmaps, and executive-level deliverables with clarity and precision. - Manage engagement economics including budgeting, resource planning, and profitability oversight. Integration Strategy & Project Management - Drive integration strategies across diverse systems, processes, and organizational teams in complex healthcare business settings. - Establish and maintain project governance structures, including risk management, change control, and stakeholder communication frameworks. - Translate clinical, operational, and technology requirements into actionable project plans with clear milestones and accountability. - Lead cross-functional teams through system implementations, mergers, operational redesigns, and other transformational initiatives. Practice & Team Development - Mentor and develop consulting staff, fostering a culture of excellence, intellectual curiosity, and client-first thinking. - Contribute to practice growth by supporting business development efforts, proposal development, and thought leadership. - Identify emerging healthcare trends and translate insights into consulting frameworks, offerings, and client value. - Champion the adoption of AI tools and modern productivity platforms to enhance advisory quality and operational efficiency. Key Skills - Strategic Thinking - Client Influence & Trust - Integration & Change Leadership - Organizational & Team Leadership - Project Execution Excellence - Business Acumen - Healthcare Domain Expertise - Digital & AI Literacy Qualifications Required - Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or clinical credential) preferred. - Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in professional services, management consulting, or a combination of consulting and healthcare operations. - Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-workstream engagements in healthcare settings (providers, payers, health systems, or government health agencies). - Deep knowledge of healthcare industry dynamics including regulatory frameworks, reimbursement models, clinical operations, and digital health trends. - Strong command of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, or hybrid) with experience managing large, cross-functional programs. - Proven ability to build and sustain executive-level client relationships with a track record of repeat engagements and client satisfaction. - Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal, and in executive presentations. Preferred - Familiarity with AI applications in healthcare and consulting contexts, including use of AI tools for analysis, documentation, and advisory work. - Proficiency with modern project management and productivity platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, Asana, Tableau, or similar). The base salary will be commensurate with an individual's work experience and educational background.
