JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to join our dynamic sales team. This remote role is ideal for candidates with Capital Equipment Sales Experience in the Food Processing Industry - particularly in the Nut - Veg segments. Candidates should be based in the U.S., preferably near a major airport in one of the following states : CA, GA, TN,IL, IA, MI, MN, NV, NH, NJ, OH, PA, SD, TX, WA, WI, WY, IN, MO, NC, or OK. This position requires availability for domestic and international travel up to 50% . This is a key role within our organization working within a collaborative team based selling model focused on the nuts / veggies market. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: - Meet or exceed sales & profitability goals. - Identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned segment. - Develop and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers as a trusted advisor. - Execute the customer relationship and sales strategy for large global CPG customers. - Must understand and articulate technical information in a concise manner. - Bring the Voice of Customer back to the Sales and Business Development Manager. - Conduct product presentations to showcase the value of our solutions. - Collaborate with the technical team during customer projects. - Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and contract negotiations. - Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive offerings. - Manage participation in trade shows & sales meetings as necessary. - Provide feedback to improve existing offerings and opportunity areas for new product development. - Detailed and accurate forecasting of opportunities - Responsive to requests and inquiries from internal and external customers - Generate trip reports and utilize Sales Force. - Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: - None MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business - 5+ years of technical related direct capital equipment sales experience in processing - Strong closing skills - Dedicated work ethic - Technical competence - Excellent presentation skills - Sound knowledge of PC use and applications PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Previous use of Sales Force - Previous experience in the Nut - Veg Roasting / Drying Industry - Thermal processing or industrial drying experience - Food processing industry sales experience - Knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing processes LANGUAGE: - Required: English Spanish is a significant plus. You'll work closely with customers to provide solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure the highest level of satisfaction. POSITION OVERVIEW (Job Summary): Under the direction of the NA Aftermarket Sales, the purpose of this job is to manage and grow the aftermarket sales revenue for spare parts and services supporting CPM’s Thermal processing equipment in North America, Mexico, Canada, and select international territories. This role focuses on developing long-term partnerships with key customers in order to meet and exceed customer expectations and to secure the success and profitability of CPM Process Solutions. SUPERVISORY RESPONSABILITIES: · None ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: · Sell existing and new potential customers replacement spare parts and services including audits, repairs and rebuilds in order to meet the objectives of the company strategy and business plan, action agenda and goals. · Managing after-sales support and negotiating contracts. · Provide effective customer service to enable the company to maximize sales and profits. · Developing personal sales plans and maintaining customer relationships. · Follow and help improve the customer contact process to ensure sales objectives are met. · Provide effective communication to other team members to ensure on-time delivery and a quality product. · Develop timely and accurate sales forecasts. · Identifying business opportunities. · Participate in company sales meetings in order to increase communication, understanding, and teamwork. · Provide and populate information relevant to quotes, opportunities, on-site plant visits and follow ups using the existing platforms (Salesforce, SAP, etc.) in order to meet expectations of CPM managers, team members, and customers. · Role requires 35% to 50% (12 -16 visit a month) travel within the assigned territory to build customer relations and ultimately increase CPM Process Solutions sales of aftermarket parts and services.
