Role Description Collège Milestone is currently seeking a part-time instructor for its vocational training program in Industrial Drafting. We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional available to teach evening and/or weekend classes and committed to preparing students for careers in industrial design, manufacturing, and mechanical drafting. - Deliver practical and engaging instruction in Industrial Drafting and design principles - Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and evaluations - Teach students how to interpret and produce industrial and mechanical drawings - Support students with varying technical abilities and learning styles - Maintain a structured, respectful, and safe classroom environment - Participate in academic meetings and collaborate with the educational team - Ensure accurate student records and compliance with College policies and procedures - Any other delegated responsibilities from the Employer Qualifications - DEP, DEC, college diploma, or university degree related to Industrial Drafting, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, or a related field - Minimum of two (2) years of teaching or industry experience - Strong knowledge of industrial drafting standards, manufacturing drawings, tolerancing, and mechanical systems - Valid Quebec teaching permit or teaching certification is an asset - Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills - Experience with Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD and SolidWorks Requirements - Part-time schedule - Evening and/or weekend availability required Compensation - Salary based on qualifications and experience How to Apply - Please submit your teaching permit or teaching certification (if applicable) - Your résumé/CV - Only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview
