• Own project management, change management and communications for AI rollouts across CHAI, including enterprise-wide tool procurement and rollout coordination. • Build demand for AI adoption across the organization: coordinate the AI Champion network, launch the Community of Practice, and maintain the AI@CHAI inbox for ongoing staff questions. • Build and manage CHAI’s AI training and enablement programs: develop training resources, design learning journeys, coordinate vendor-led trainings, launch AI ethics and competency trainings, and run AI onboarding for new employees. • Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, and user guidance in coordination with the Innovation team and IT, covering best practices, use case libraries, ethics guidance, and AI standards. • Coordinate the AI advisory committee and make sure it functions as an effective governance and decision-making body. • Define and track adoption metrics and targets, conduct quarterly gap and themes analysis, and assess ROI on AI tool usage (time saved vs. tooling cost).

• Define and drive CHAI’s internal AI transformation strategy, identifying where AI can most effectively transform enterprise operations, internal workflows, and staff productivity across CHAI’s global teams. • Design, build, and ship bespoke AI-powered tools alongside the Manager, AI Transformation, working directly in code and AI-native development environments (e.g., Claude Code and Cowork) on the most important builds; set the technical bar for what the team produces. • Co-own CHAI's AI tool portfolio alongside the Innovation team, overseeing the evaluation, selection, procurement, and ongoing governance of AI platforms and tools used across the organization; establish practical AI governance frameworks that protect CHAI without slowing it down. • Drive organization-wide AI adoption of internal AI tools across CHAI’s global offices, including approaches that reach staff with varying levels of technical knowledge across diverse geographies and functions; establish metrics to track adoption, engagement, and return on investment. • Manage and mentor the Manager, AI Transformation, providing clear technical and professional direction and investing meaningfully in their growth.

• Lead development and execution of global supply-side strategies for HAP, Nutrition, Assistive Technology Market. • Identify high-impact opportunities for increasing the availability and affordability of priority commodities in the aforementioned disease areas. • Lead negotiations with suppliers on priority commodities in the aforementioned disease areas. • Identify and develop CHAI’s working relationship with suppliers in Africa to further CHAI’s work on regional manufacturing. • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential suppliers of drugs and diagnostics in low-middle-income markets by providing market insights and contacts, offering targeted support and guidance to navigate regulatory and procurement processes. • Support CHAI Rwanda team in their work on Nutrition and Assistive Technology. • Liaise with the PCQRA, the disease team and country teams to develop the market analysis required to support negotiations with suppliers to expedite time-to-market, reduce pricing and improve supply security. • Lead response to Request of Proposals for commodities and services in collaboration with CHAI disease and country programs. • Monitor GMT activities against program goals and donor commitments, identify operational bottlenecks or weaknesses, and work collaboratively with CHAI country and global teams to achieve exceptional results on aggressive timelines. • Any other work activities as required by the Senior Director, Global Markets. • Travel to supplier locations, CHAI program countries, and other locations as required.

• Oversee meeting planning and coordination, including logistics for in-person convenings and international travel arrangements, budget management, and post-event reporting • Lead and manage team meetings, setting agendas, driving accountability on action items, and ensuring strategic follow-through • Design and lead onboarding processes for new staff members; manage relationships with other CHAI operations teams/staff as primary operational liaison • Oversee the development and management of subrecipient contracts, invoice processing, and grant compliance; identify and implement improvements to financial workflows • Drive knowledge flow across the team and broader organization, ensuring information-sharing systems and platforms are effective, current, and strategically aligned • Develop and deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leadership and external stakeholders • Design and maintain operational systems and administrative resources that support program efficiency at scale (team newsletter, website, knowledge repositories, etc.) • Manage and organize program documents, data, and files; own the team’s institutional memory and ensure long-term accessibility • Serve as a strategic thought partner to team leadership on operational efficiency, team culture, and organizational development initiatives

• Support the design and implementation of AI pilot programs in CHAI partner countries, working closely with government counterparts, CHAI country teams, and technology partners to ensure successful adoption and scale-up • Drive internal transformation efforts to increase the impact of CHAI's programs through AI, including identifying high-value use cases, building internal capacity, and developing tools and workflows that enhance program effectiveness • Contribute to the design of global market shaping and AI public goods initiatives that accelerate the safe and responsible implementation of AI in LMIC health settings • Define user requirements and product specifications for AI-enabled tools, translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet real-world needs • Project manage technology initiatives from concept through launch, coordinating across engineers, designers, program teams, and government partners • Rapidly prototype and test AI-enabled solutions using low-code and no-code tools, demonstrating value and iterating based on user feedback • Develop compelling presentations, briefs, and other materials to communicate AI strategy, project progress, and impact to internal leadership, government partners, and donors • Monitor the evolving AI landscape, identifying emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices relevant to global health applications • Support fundraising and donor engagement efforts, including contributing to proposal development and reporting • Travel internationally 20-40% of the time, including extended periods during critical project periods • Undertake other responsibilities as needed at the request of the Associate Director or senior leadership

• Review monthly cash reports from country teams for accuracy and compliance with accounting principles • Review the reconciliation of monthly bank and balance sheet activity from country teams • Prepare and process of journal entries in the central ERP system • Review the staff time tabulation and distribute payroll costs to appropriate general ledger accounts • Monitor the financial activity on assigned programs and prepare expenditure reports for program managers as needed • Prepare and analyse complex financial statements that relate to various fund types and account groups • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations • Prepare monthly preliminary and final financial statements for country teams • Assist in the preparation of audits, financial statements and varied fiscal reports • Review accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and compliance • Perform other tasks as necessary

• Lead CHAI's clinical AI portfolio, defining strategy and priorities for AI-powered Clinical Decision Support initiatives across CHAI's global programs • Build and manage a small team focused on clinical AI, providing mentorship, setting direction, and ensuring high-quality execution • Develop and maintain partnerships with AI labs, technology companies, academic institutions, and other organizations working on clinical AI tools relevant to LMIC settings • Serve as a key translator between LMIC Ministry of Health partners and technology organizations, ensuring that clinical AI tools are adapted to local clinical workflows, infrastructure constraints, and health system priorities • Work closely with CHAI country teams and government counterparts to design, implement, and scale clinical AI pilots, ensuring strong government ownership and sustainability • Provide clinical and technical guidance on AI tool selection, validation, and deployment, drawing on expertise in clinical practice, AI capabilities, and product development • Contribute to CHAI's broader AI strategy and learning agenda, including developing frameworks for responsible AI deployment in clinical settings • Represent CHAI externally on clinical AI topics, including at conferences, in donor meetings, and with global health partners • Support fundraising efforts for clinical AI work, including contributing to proposal development, donor engagement, and reporting • Travel internationally during intensive project periods (50%+), with overall travel averaging 10-25% annually

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of approximately 30 finance professionals across accounting, payroll, AP, and audit/compliance functions • Instill a culture of customer service across the Controller’s Office, ensuring finance is considered an accessible, responsive partner to program and country teams • Own the global monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, driving significant reductions in close timelines through process improvement and team development • Champion the use of AI-driven tools and automation across functions to improve efficiency in accounting, AP, payroll, and reporting • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, donor requirements, local statutory requirements, and CHAI’s internal policies across all entities • Lead the AP team through the transition from manual to automated workflows • Provide technical guidance, oversight, and support to finance teams across CHAI’s 35 country offices
