This is a unique opportunity to join our team in providing operational support and world-class customer service to our clients. Title: Senior Due Diligence Analyst - Alternative Investments Location: Dallas United States Job Description: The Senior Due Diligence Analyst will be part of Cetera's Alternative Investment Due Diligence Team, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Due Diligence. This is a hybrid role located in one of our office located in Dallas, TX. What you will do: - Conducting due diligence on various alternative investment offerings, including real estate, credit, oil and gas, hedge funds, private equity, and other investment types. - Summarizing due diligence findings in a written report for presentation to Cetera's product committee. - Working with Due Diligence Team members to assist with firm initiatives, including high-net-worth investment products. - Discussing alternative investment offerings with Cetera financial advisors, and answering questions about historical products. - Attend industry conferences as needed to stay informed of market updates. Some travel may be required for due diligence meetings and conference participation. What you will have: - 7+ years of alternative investment due diligence experience with a firm understanding of securities due diligence. - Knowledge of investment structures such as non-traded REITs, BDCs, interval funds, and private offerings. - Knowledge of different investment sectors such as real estate, credit, private markets, and oil and gas. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to synthesize large volumes of information and distill key items. - Ability to work on multiple projects at one time. - Firm understanding of securities rules and regulations. - Firm understanding of and ability to use financial statements. - Self-starter who can work independently, with excellent attention to detail.
