Role Description Canopie is a digital maternal health company supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals through structured, evidence-based coaching and care navigation. We are seeking Spanish-speaking licensed clinicians who are comfortable delivering care in a fully virtual, tech-enabled environment and passionate about expanding access to perinatal support. This role is well suited for clinicians who enjoy brief, high-impact interactions, working within clear protocols, and supporting families through key perinatal transitions using digital tools. - Conduct brief onboarding and activation calls in Spanish (10–15 minutes) using validated screening tools (e.g., EPDS) - Perform outreach to eligible members using structured scripts and digital workflows - Deliver virtual coaching sessions in Spanish focused on perinatal mental health, adjustment to parenthood, stress regulation, and health-promoting behaviors - Support members around common postpartum topics (mood, feeding, sleep, transitions) within Canopie’s coaching scope, coordinating referrals when specialized care is needed - Identify elevated risk and follow defined escalation and referral pathways - Document all interactions accurately and efficiently in Canopie’s digital platform - Communicate with members via phone, video, and secure messaging - Participate in remote training, supervision, and quality reviews Qualifications - Fluent Spanish speaker (spoken and written) able to deliver care confidently in Spanish - Active Florida license (LCSW, APRN, CNM, PA) - Experience supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals - Prior experience in telehealth, digital health, population health, or virtual care environments - Comfortable delivering brief, structured care and following protocols - Strong digital literacy (telehealth platforms, EHRs, secure messaging) - Reliable, organized, and responsive in a remote work setting Requirements - Certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C, MMH-C) and/or IBCLC (preferred) - 3–5+ years of perinatal clinical or coaching experience (preferred) - Experience working with Spanish-speaking or immigrant communities (preferred) - Background in coaching, care navigation, or brief intervention models (preferred) Schedule & Commitment - Part-time contractor role (approximately 10–20 hours/week; varies by program needs) - Availability during business hours required; evening outreach availability is a plus - Timely documentation and consistent availability are essential - Fully remote, digital-first care model - Competitive contractor rates aligned with Florida market standards - Ongoing clinical training, peer consultation, and supervision - Support for perinatal mental health certification for longer-term contributors - Opportunity to help build equitable access to maternal health support at scale

Maternal Health Peer Specialists play a critical role in the care continuum by offering empathetic, experience-informed support. This role helps ensure members feel seen, understood, and empowered to make decisions that align with their own values, needs, and circumstances. Peer support is not about directing decisions—it’s about creating space, sharing perspective when appropriate, and helping members navigate what feels right for them. What You’ll Do - Provide virtual peer support to members across pregnancy and postpartum, grounded in lived experience - Offer empathetic listening, validation, and encouragement through key perinatal transitions - Share personal insights when appropriate to normalize experiences and reduce isolation - Conduct outreach and engagement using structured workflows and communication tools - Support members in navigating common challenges (emotional wellbeing, identity shifts, recovery, feeding, sleep, returning to work) - Encourage connection to Canopie services (coaching, classes, clinical care) based on member needs - Recognize when additional or clinical support may be needed and follow defined escalation pathways - Document interactions clearly and consistently within Canopie’s platform - Communicate with members via phone, video, and secure messaging - Participate in training, supervision, and peer support development Scope & Boundaries - This is a non-clinical role and does not provide medical or mental health treatment - Peer Specialists do not diagnose or direct care decisions - The focus is on support, connection, and helping members navigate available resources - Clear escalation pathways are in place for clinical or higher-risk needs Qualifications - Lived experience with pregnancy and/or the postpartum period within the last ~3–5 years - Ability to thoughtfully reflect on and use personal experience to support others in a balanced, appropriate way - Some experience in maternal health, peer support, community-based work, or caregiving roles - Comfortable providing virtual support and building connection in a digital environment - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, non-judgmental approach - Ability to follow structured workflows while maintaining authenticity in interactions - Strong digital literacy (video platforms, messaging tools, documentation systems) - Reliable, organized, and responsive in a remote setting Preferred - Experience in peer support roles (formal or informal) - Exposure to perinatal mental health, coaching, or support groups - Background working with diverse or underserved populations - Bilingual (Spanish/English) Schedule & Commitment - Part-time contractor role (approximately 20 hours/week; varies by program needs) - Availability during business hours required; evening and weekend availability is a plus - Fully remote, digital-first care model - Ongoing clinical training, peer consultation, and supervision - Opportunity to help build equitable access to maternal health support at scale
Role Description Provide ongoing virtual doula support across pregnancy and postpartum, grounded in emotional support, education, and preparation. - Conduct onboarding and proactive outreach using structured workflows and communication tools. - Deliver 1:1 sessions and contribute to group-based education (e.g., birth preparation, postpartum recovery, feeding, newborn care). - Educate members and families on the childbirth process, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and feeding options. - Support members in developing birth preferences and preparing for labor and delivery. - Share practical tools for comfort, including breathing techniques, relaxation strategies, and other coping methods. - Help members navigate conversations with partners and healthcare providers to support informed, aligned decision-making. - Build trust and understand individual needs through ongoing, relationship-based support. - Encourage engagement with Canopie services and reinforce care plans aligned with coaching and clinical teams. - Identify when additional clinical or lactation support may be beneficial and follow defined referral pathways. - Document all interactions clearly and efficiently within Canopie’s platform. - Communicate with members via phone, video, and secure messaging. Qualifications - Fluent Spanish speaker (spoken and written). - Certified Doula (DONA or equivalent). - Experience supporting individuals through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. - Comfortable delivering virtual support and building rapport in a digital environment. - Strong communication skills with a supportive, grounded presence. - Ability to balance warmth with clear, practical guidance. - Comfortable following structured workflows and engagement protocols. - Strong digital literacy (telehealth platforms, documentation tools, messaging). - Reliable, organized, and responsive in a remote work setting. Requirements - Experience providing virtual doula care or telehealth support (preferred). - 2–5+ years of doula or perinatal support experience (preferred). - Experience working with Spanish-speaking or immigrant communities (preferred). - Additional certifications (e.g., lactation support, childbirth education) (preferred).
