The Call Center Specialist at Canandaigua National Bank is responsible for providing superior banking assistance to current and prospective customers via the telephone and on Chat. The Call Center Specialist assists with recognizing and uncovering caller needs and providing a superior customer experience with any banking needs. Call Center Specialists have tools at their disposal to provide all of our customers with convenient, enjoyable and efficient service for all of their banking and financial needs. This role has the possibility of working hybrid. What competencies are needed to be successful in this role? - A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in business curriculum; bank customer service representative training. - A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service focused role required. - A minimum of one (1) year of banking experience is required. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Must be able to work within a fast-paced team environment and prioritize tasks in the face of conflicting priorities. - Ability to work in a confidential and time sensitive environment is essential. - Moderate ability to analyze and categorize data. What does a successful first year in this position look like? - Contribute to the team success by answering incoming calls placed by CNB customers. - Successfully complete training associated with product lines, internal operations and customer service functions. - Become proficient in associated systems such as core banking, debit card administration, loan payment administration and bill pay services. - Participate in the referral program and meet quarterly goals while making qualified referrals based on customer need. - Accurately log and manage customer activity and communication in the appropriate systems. - Gain knowledge of the laws, regulations, and practices that impact the banking industry such as the Bank Secrecy Act, anti-fraud and anti-money laundering polices. Compensation range: $23.50/hr. The actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, and performance expectations. Flexibility needed depending on department needs.) What does a Social Media Specialist do? The Social Media Specialist at Canandaigua National Bank strives to deliver an effective, comprehensive social media presence that supports the goals and objectives of the Corporate Strategic Plan and Marketing Strategic Plan. In coordination with the Integrated Marketing Manager, this role assists in planning, implementing and monitoring a multi-channel social media strategy to increase brand awareness, create engagement, support marketing efforts, deliver educational content, promote brand differentiators, and increase conversions based on appropriate goals through organic and paid social content. The Social Media Specialist is involved in several aspects of social media, including executing campaigns, reporting, monitoring social media channels and responding to social media inquiries as appropriate, tracking and escalating to manager if warranted. Works to ensure social media goals are established, tracked, and achieved using appropriate content style, format, and tone for various audiences/channels, expanding the social voice of the organization to include trained social spokespeople. Specializes in communicating through social media channels as well as across a variety of digital channels, as illustrated by the following: - Manages various social media accounts and channels including content creation and distribution, community management, reporting, execution of campaigns, and profile management. - Executes strategies to expand our involvement with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn and other platforms as directed. - Serves as social media photographer, videographer, and designer. - Utilizes various social spokespeople to achieve messaging goals according to plan and strategy. - Attends and represents the bank at various community, business, and educational functions to support social media content development and to strengthen understanding of the brand voice. - Develops creative templates for desired target audiences and channels. - Responds to inquiries and communications via electronic channels, escalates interactions when necessary. - Supports with social listening, actively monitoring the social media platforms for activity related to the organization. - Follows and shares content from key Centers of Influence and community groups. - Monitors content performance against goals and key performance indicators as identified. - Supports creation of reports on appropriate metrics such as impressions, engagements, video views, follower growth, and other performance indicators. - Engages directly with representatives from social media providers (platforms, tools, associations, etc.) to develop organizational strategies. - Implements appropriate changes and regular updates to social media channels that align with organizational strategy and goals. - Assists in the development of content to support a variety of marketing initiatives as needed, including website, newsletters, articles (customization and ghost writing), PowerPoints, emails, advertisements and customer communications.
