Role Description As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide your clients with daily assistance while adhering to our highest standards of care. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and errands/shopping. - Creating a healthy, safe, and comfortable home environment for your clients. - Providing emotional support and companionship. To be a successful Home Care Assistant, you must be a critical thinker with a genuine care for the elderly and disabled, as well as having a calm and nurturing demeanor that puts clients at ease. You must also have reliable transportation as you will be running errands and shopping for them. Most importantly, you must have the ability to communicate clearly as you’ll be interacting with clients, their families, and other professionals in the home care space. Role Description Burleys Home Care seeks a compassionate Home Care Assistant to provide personalized day-to-day caregiving assistance to clients in their homes.
