Role Description We are seeking an Intermediate Environmental Specialist to support field-based projects across Western Canada. This role combines technical fieldwork, environmental monitoring, data interpretation, and reporting. Key Responsibilities - Construction environmental monitoring and compliance inspections - Wetland delineations and biophysical assessments - Aquatic habitat and wildlife surveys - Soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling - Implementation of EMPs, erosion and sediment control, and spill response - Technical report writing and regulatory documentation - Coordination with clients, contractors, and regulators Qualifications - 3–6 years of environmental experience - Degree or diploma in environmental or related field - Professional designation preferred (P.Biol, R.P.Bio, P.Ag, AScT) - Experience in mining, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects - Background in wetland, aquatic, or biophysical assessments Work Environment Remote-based role with frequent travel to field sites, long field days, and work in varying terrain and weather conditions.
