Role Description We are looking for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in Massachusetts. - Diagnosing, managing and treating our patients. - Treat conditions appropriate for outpatient psychiatry. - Full time assistance to handle administrative and clinical tasks (prior authorizations, scheduling, obtaining outside records, etc.). - Enjoy practicing independently. - Computer/EMR/e-prescribing proficient. - Compassionate, caring provider who is non-judgemental toward patients with psychiatric needs. - Provide initial assessments. - Provide ongoing medication management. - Understanding and experience of a broad range of mental illnesses. Candidates should have experience performing neuropsychological and psychological testing in an outpatient setting of adolescents and adults with a variety of conditions. - Administers, scores, and interprets tests for cognitive screening, neuropsychological assessment, and psychological assessment to referred patients. - Writes psychological assessment reports. - Completes thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of assessment and treatment provided that is consistent with professional standards and facility procedures. - The patient population includes but is not limited to individuals with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit disorder, mood disorders, alcohol/substance abuse, head injury/concussion, and dementia.
