• High volume live Customer Support for contest entrants via email and live chat feature - Zendesk and Intercom • Handling support requests and escalating them to the appropriate parties • Monitor for critical site issues and escalate to the proper channels to ensure a speedy resolution • Resolve contest inquiries regarding sporting rules & account and billing inquiries from users • Requests include: verifying user identities during sign-up, gameplay questions, the status of withdrawals, and more
• Own features end-to-end: from design discussions through implementation, testing, and production monitoring. • Work across the full stack: frontend, mobile, server, and data layers. • Optimize for performance, stability, and quality of the end-user experience. • Participate in roadmapping, stand-ups, code review, and ongoing discussions about best practices and design patterns. • Develop an appreciation for the gaming vertical and contribute to the design, testing, and evaluation of new products and features.
• Design, build, and own scalable data pipelines for analytics and reporting. • Integrate datasets from APIs, vendors, and event streams into the data warehouse. • Maintain clear documentation for data models, pipelines, and system architecture. • Write high-quality SQL and optimize database performance across large datasets. • Troubleshoot data issues, including pipeline failures, schema changes, and data-quality gaps. • Define and maintain core business metrics used across analytics, finance, and product. • Analyze user behavior and funnels to support product decisions and growth initiatives. • Handle ad-hoc data requests, analyses, and exploratory investigations.
