• Data Analysis and Architecture: • Collect, cleanse, and analyze extensive datasets from various sources, including UNS, Data Lakes, and PLC Data. • Develop and implement a robust data architecture framework to support efficient data collection, storage, and retrieval. • Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to build predictive models and algorithms. • Create and maintain data visualizations and reports, ensuring they are insightful and actionable. • Design and oversee the construction of an accessible data environment, enabling streamlined data extraction for analysis and dashboard creation. • Train and guide team members in extracting and utilizing data from the established environment, fostering a data-centric culture within the organization. • SQL Development and Data Management: • Design, develop, and manage SQL scripts, queries, and database structures for optimal performance and efficiency. • Ensure data integrity and security in all SQL and database operations. • IT/OT Systems Integration and Architecture • Architect comprehensive IT/OT solutions, integrating systems like SCADA, MES, and ERP. • Employ expertise in industrial automation systems design and implementation, particularly with Ignition software. • Lead system integration projects to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability. • Data Governance and Quality Assurance: • Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity. • Address data quality issues in collaboration with IT and other departments, establishing best practices. • Business Insights and Decision Support: • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide analytical support. • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business strategies and process improvements. • Continuous Learning and Innovation: • Stay abreast of the latest trends in data analysis, AI, ML, and related technologies. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in data analysis.

• The Automation & AI Systems Engineer is a hands-on developer and architect responsible for building and maintaining the automation and AI systems that power Bay Cities’ digital ecosystem. • This role designs enterprise-grade workflows, Copilot-style AI agents, and Power Platform applications that connect business units, eliminate manual work, and enable data-driven decisions. • Working directly with the CITO and cross-functional stakeholders, the Engineer will scope automation opportunities, plan implementation, calculate ROI, and deliver measurable outcomes through technology. • This is a strategic technical role for a builder who understands how to integrate systems, scale solutions, and operationalize AI and automation across business units. • Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade automations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse) and n8n. • Create scalable, modular workflows in n8n to orchestrate integrations between ERP, M365, SharePoint, and third-party systems. • Develop integrations between ERP systems (Amtech, Llumin, Helios, Encore) and Microsoft 365 through APIs, Logic Apps, and Fabric connectors. • Manage n8n workflows across environments, ensuring version control, documentation, and operational reliability. • Document system architecture, process logic, and dependencies for support and scalability. • Build, train, and maintain AI agents and copilots using Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and n8n-triggered workflows. • Research, test, and implement AI models for predictive analytics, document processing, and process optimization. • Ensure proper governance and compliance for AI and automation usage. • Partner with the CITO to scope automation and AI opportunities aligned with company strategy. • Translate business challenges into automation roadmaps with defined deliverables, milestones, and ROI. • Prepare project proposals outlining resource requirements, technical approach, and business impact. • Lead technical execution from design through testing, rollout, and documentation. • Collaborate with IT, Data, and Workflow Teams to connect automation efforts across systems (Switch, WebCenter, Tilia, Ignition).
