Title: Registered Dietitian Location: Eagle United States Job Description: Castle Peak, a senior living community in Eagle, CO, is currently seeking a Registered Dietitian to help our residents experience independence and dignity within a loving community atmosphere. In this role, you will collaborate with our on-site leaders and culinary team to use your clinical expertise to develop a plan for each resident to help achieve their goals. Position Type: Part-Time, benefit eligible position working 10 to 16 hours per week. Primarily remote position. Title: Collections and Medicaid Specialist Location: Edina United States Job Description: Cassia, a leading provider of senior care and services, has a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Collections and Medicaid Specialist to join our team at the corporate office in Edina, MN! In this role, you will be responsible for identifying aging receivables, initiating and conducting all collections activities for assigned accounts, and assisting residents and families with Medical Assistance application procedures. We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in collections and Medicaid application processing, along with a solid understanding of collections procedures, timelines, and applicable laws and regulations. This is a Full-Time, benefit-eligible position that requires onsite work at our Edina corporate office for the first six months, with potential for a hybrid remote schedule afterward. Position Type: Full-Time Pay range: $45,000 to $55,000 Location: 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN 55439 Collections and Medicaid Specialist responsibilities: - Proactively identify aging receivables and initiate all collection activities for sites assigned. - Assist residents and families with Medical Assistance (MA-LTC) application procedures, including gathering and reviewing income and asset verification. - Guide residents and families through complex MA-LTC eligibility requirements, including asset spenddown, transfers, and documentation requests. - Assist with MNsure applications when applicable. - Conduct difficult and sensitive financial conversations regarding patient liability, spenddown, and outstanding balances. - Provide education on what MA covers and does not cover. - Develop and implement payment plans to collect outstanding balances. - Coordinate and prepare for monthly collection meetings. - Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned. Collections and Medicaid Specialist requirements: - 3+ years’ experience in collections and hands-on Medical Assistance (MA-LTC) application processing required. - Direct experience assisting with completion, submission, and follow-up of MA-LTC applications strongly preferred. - Working knowledge of long-term care Medicaid eligibility, including asset and income verification requirements. - Must have proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheet applications. - Intermediate knowledge on excel and formulas. - Must be familiar with Accounts Receivable software. - Strong understanding of collection procedures and privacy laws required. - Knowledge of Healthcare collections a plus. - Ability to influence/persuade others in often confrontational/sensitive situations. - Strong organizational, analytical problem-solving skills. - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
