Title: DevOps & Cloud Engineer Location: Los Angeles, CA Department: Information Technology Job Description: DevOps & Cloud Engineer (Aristotle Capital Management, LLC; Los Angeles, CA): Work with development teams to migrate manual processes into Jenkins DevOps pipelines. Automate database deployment utilizing Liquibase within DevOps pipelines. Assist maintenance of pipeline code, and develop new pipeline logic to support business needs. Develop and maintain infrastructure and configuration as code for Amazon Web Services (AWS). Codify existing Azure infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployed through DevOps pipelines. Automate the generation of SOC and SOC2 audit reports. Use Datadog to proactively monitor and detect issues and optimize systems and processes through data analysis. Develop Datadog custom agent checks (Python) to improve monitoring, alerting, self-healing of the Aristotle infrastructure and application environment. Monitor and control cloud spend utilizing cloud cost management best practices and scripting (Python, Boto3, and AWS CLI). Monitor and assess cloud security best practices are being enforced. Utilize MS Defender to respond and remediate cyber risks. Develop and refine integrations between Aristotle’s tooling (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Rancher/Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Confluence, JSM, and Datadog). Create new ways to migration existing traditional processes in cloud, using cloud-native technologies. Deploy, configure, and manage various products and tooling into AWS EKS (Kubernetes). Migrate existing tooling running on VM’s to Kubernetes. Utilize Linux expertise to build and configure systems, install, and configure applications, through scripting, Ansible, Terraform, and other modern methods. Assist in migrating on-premises database systems to AWS RDS. Work closely with Aristotle development teams to identify issues, tune queries, and stored procedures. Create, maintain, and update all relevant documentation in Confluence. Help to secure both applications and databases, following least privileged principles and mitigating cyber risks. Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) on Aristotle’s apps and databases, using Datadog. Learn new and unfamiliar technologies. Telecommuting permitted from within the U.S. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus six (6) years of experience as a DevOps & Cloud Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Software Engineer, or related occupation. What You'll Do The Senior Associate, RFP is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and strategic positioning of firm and strategy information-encompassing both quantitative data and qualitative narratives-across all client-facing materials. This role involves the production of high-quality RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs, while also supporting the ongoing maintenance of product profiles within consultant databases (e.g., eVestment). The position plays a key role in effectively communicating our capabilities to both current and prospective clients across Aristotle's affiliates. Key Responsibilities: - Support the end-to-end process for qualifying, drafting, reviewing, and submitting RFIs, DDQs, and RFPs for prospective and existing investors. - Tailor responses to client requirements, clearly articulating the firm's value proposition and competitive differentiation. - Partner with Client Portfolio Managers (CPMs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand key trends, market opportunities, and areas of differentiation for the firm and each Aristotle strategy to better position content for effective RFP responses. - Apply firm branding and messaging standards across all materials, including cover letters, executive summaries, and supporting documents. - Leverage AI and technology tools to enhance efficiency while maintaining data accuracy and content integrity. - Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure all submissions are accurate, appropriately positioned, and fully compliant. - Manage incoming requests (typically via email) and workflow by monitoring correspondence and leveraging internal systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track deliverables and deadlines, while coordinating with team members to ensure appropriate coverage and timely escalation of issues. - Partner with external vendors to manage timely and accurate updates to consultant database profiles, ensuring completeness, data integrity, and optimal firm visibility. - Ensure all database content adheres to applicable regulations and industry standards (e.g., SEC, GIPS), particularly for performance, fees, and portfolio characteristics. - Analyze data and trends to refine competitive positioning and tailor messaging across client segments and distribution channels. - Implement procedures to regularly audit data and validate database information for accuracy and completeness. - Collaborate with Compliance and external partners to conduct periodic reviews and implement required updates and corrections in a timely manner. - Develop and maintain feedback loops with Product, CPMs, and Sales to ensure database content reflects the most relevant and up-to-date information for clients and consultants. - Partner with senior leaders to oversee the maintenance of the firm's content database (Responsive), ensuring content is reviewed with SMEs and that approved updates are promptly integrated for consistent, team-wide use. - Maintain and optimize the firm's content database (Responsive) by incorporating approved updates, coordinating regular SME reviews, and eliminating redundancies to ensure content is accurate, consistent, and readily accessible. - Partner with Operations to understand workflows across retail and institutional accounts, as well as various investment vehicles, to ensure accurate and tailored responses. - Work closely with SMEs to leverage database insights and enhance content used in RFPs, client presentations, and marketing materials. - Monitor regulatory and industry developments, coordinating with Compliance and Operations to ensure content remains aligned with evolving requirements and due diligence standards. • The SVP, Regional Director, Wealth Management Group, will be responsible for promoting and distributing Aristotle’s suite of investment solutions (Mutual Funds and SMAs) to financial intermediaries, primarily the Wirehouse. • This role will assist the company and its affiliates with their sales and marketing efforts within the wealth management channel. • This position will have geographic emphasis on the New England region of the US including Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. • Implement a territory sales and service strategy with the primary objective to increase sales of Aristotle’s investment strategies. • Coverage will be specific to broker dealers with an emphasis on Wirehouse. • Manage multi state territory with objective of maintaining a high level of client service while simultaneously growing territory assets. • Ability to discuss multiple investment solutions across different asset classes. • Engage with clients and prospects regularly through a combination of in-person meetings, virtual consultations, phone calls, and email communication to build and maintain strong, personalized relationships. • Actively seek out new business opportunities by identifying and prospecting potential clients. • Build and nurture collaborative relationships with internal teams, including assigned Internal Wholesaler and other key stakeholders at the home office. • Travel as needed to effectively raise assets.
