Product Lead, Agentic Implementation
ArbiterUnifying and automating referral workflows so that every patient reaches the right provider at the right time and cost.
• Pilot scoping and solutioning: Partner with Sales on discovery for small and mid-market accounts — define scope, flag what's feasible in the near term with our agentic workflows, and translate ambiguous customer requests into crisp requirements with measurable success criteria. Map the clinical or user journey and configure the initial program using our existing templates, working closely with our Staff Implementation PM to align on final solutioning. • End-to-end deployment execution: Own the customer relationship during the pilot window (typically the first 90 days): single point of contact for onboarding, technical setup, and early troubleshooting. Lead cross-functional execution with handoffs to Staff Implementation PM and Implementation Engineers to configure agent workflows (voice, SMS, video), content, routing, triggers, and integrations. Drive QA, go-live readiness, and fast triage: logs, edge cases, failure modes, escalation paths. • ROI proof and hand-off: Track pilot performance against agreed success metrics patient engagement, time-to-live, adoption, and clinical saves. Package learnings into a handoff that's ready for our Senior CS Manager to scale: what worked, what didn't, and what the next contract should include. • Building the repeatable motion: Create deployment playbooks, templates, and configuration checklists that reduce variance across pilots and speed up future launches. Feed real-world gaps into the product roadmap platform limitations, reporting needs, new configuration primitives so engineering builds what actually matters in the field.
Senior Backend Engineer
ArbiterUnifying and automating referral workflows so that every patient reaches the right provider at the right time and cost.
• Engineer Agentic Deployments: Design, build, and ship multi-step, multi-modal agentic workflows (voice, SMS, video, chat, web) tailored to specific customer use cases. Own these systems end-to-end from requirements through production monitoring. • Solve Hard Problems Creatively: Each deployment surfaces novel challenges: complex scheduling logic, real-time EHR data flows, multi-outcome conversations, adaptive patient journeys. You are expected to think independently and build solutions that go beyond existing patterns. • Translate Requirements into Technical Designs: Partner with Customer Success and stakeholders to understand operational needs, then architect agentic workflows that address them. Push back when requirements don't make sense. Propose better approaches when you see them. • Ship to Production with High Standards: Deploy and operate customer-facing systems with strict reliability, compliance, and quality requirements. Instrument thoroughly, monitor outcomes, and iterate based on real-world performance. • Contribute to the Platform: Identify reusable patterns across deployments and contribute them back as platform capabilities. Improve shared tooling, workflow primitives, and infrastructure based on what you learn in the field. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, data, engineering, and clinical teams to align deployment work with broader platform direction and company goals.
Senior Backend Engineer, Integrations
ArbiterUnifying and automating referral workflows so that every patient reaches the right provider at the right time and cost.
• Design, develop, and operate backend services that power Arbiter's core platform, with an emphasis on reliability, modularity, and clean system boundaries. • Build and maintain robust connections to third-party systems (e.g. cloud APIs, AI services, data exchange services, EHRs, telephony platforms). Own the abstractions that make these integrations reusable and adaptable across customers with minimal rework. • Design and operate high-scale APIs (REST, gRPC, webhooks) and manage complex data flows including real-time streaming, batch processing, file-based exchange (e.g. SFTP, HL7, EDI), and event-driven pipelines. • Ensure high throughput, low latency, and fault tolerance across backend services through strong system design, monitoring, alerting, and operational best practices. Handle vendor failures, retries, idempotency, and graceful degradation. • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, manage schema evolution, and ensure data quality and integrity across systems with varying formats, standards, and reliability. • Implement and uphold best practices for CI/CD, testing, observability, and deployment of backend systems in production cloud environments. • Partner closely with AI engineers, product managers, implementation teams, and customer stakeholders to translate ambiguous, high-impact problems into scalable technical solutions. • Mentor engineers, contribute to internal documentation and standards, influence technical direction, and raise the overall engineering bar. • Take end-to-end ownership of critical systems, including participating in on-call rotations and leading incident resolution when production issues arise.
