Title: Research Assistant - ENACTS Graduate - A. Abrash Walton Location: United States remote Number of Positions: 2 (This is an extension of two existing non-FWS GRA positions) Hours per Week: 20 hours/week needed = 10 hours/student Weekends Required: No Evenings Required: No Job Description: This position allows for remote work Yes/No: Yes Percentage of time that could be remote (0-100%): 100% Method to assess remote work: Weekly team meetings + receipt of deliverables and weekly reporting Job Description Key responsibilities for this position include the following: Collaborate in developing half-day Community Resilience workshops in each of the three Living Hubs; Collaborate in designing workshop survey instrument characterizing process-based equity and its influence on NbS decision-making; Mobilize and manage project stakeholder engagement, including identifying and engaging Living Hub community participants/NbS decision makers; Support IRB process, as requested by Antioch PI; Contribute to manuscript development, as requested by Antioch PI; Collaborate in developing presentations and reports on the team’s work for the ENACTS team and others; Develop and share with AUNE Comms team narrative description and photo image documenting project activities relevant for social media; and Participate in weekly Antioch team meetings and periodic ENACTS team meetings from July 2026 to August 14 2026. Qualifications Ability to work with others and communicate effectively, including with respect to presentations and report writing, is essential. Experience with effective community organizing and event planning, particularly with respect to community resilience and NbS is strongly preferred. Prior qualitative and quantitative research experience is strongly preferred, including psychosocial survey development, administration, and analysis; analysis of narrative data; and effective data management. Additional qualifications include organizational, project, and time management skills, flexibility, strong intercultural and interpersonal awareness and skills, the capacity to work independently, and the ability to network with local government decision makers, community-based organization members, residents, and other ENACTS researchers.
