Role Description We are hiring a Regulatory Data Operations Lead to join our data team. - Own outcomes — the quality, completeness, and coverage of our regulatory data library across multiple industrial verticals. - Work independently, design your own workflows, and take full ownership of the data streams assigned to you. - Ensure we have the right data to confidently approach new customers, run demos, and deliver for signed pilots. What You'll Do - Own the research, collection, and quality of regulatory data across multiple industrial verticals — from scoping sources to final ingestion-ready output. - Design and execute efficient data collection workflows using AI tools; actively figure out how to use them to do the work faster and better. - Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness for the verticals you own — including staying on top of regulatory updates. - Independently ramp up on new industries, regions, and regulatory frameworks. - Contribute to the quality standard of the whole team — your work sets the bar. - Collaborate closely with the team on methodology, prioritization, and customer-facing data needs (demos, pilots, new verticals). - Coordinate with the broader data team on collection tasks and quality checks. Qualifications - You take ownership seriously. - You hold yourself to a high standard across everything you do. - You think before you start: map out a smart approach before diving into execution. - You follow through without being chased and are bothered when your output falls short. - You are a fast, independent learner. - You can walk into an unfamiliar industry and figure out what you need to know without guidance. - You adapt quickly when workflows or priorities change; you do not need stability to be productive. - You are genuinely excited about using AI tools to work better and faster. - You have a technical foundation with a business mindset. - You have a 3+ years background in: - Hardware engineering — enough to understand how physical products are designed, built, and regulated across industries, or - Business roles in fast-moving tech companies, or - Legal compliance. - You are curious about new verticals and your engineering intuition travels. - You understand that good data must serve the people using it; you think about the customer, not just the spec. Nice-to-Have - Prior experience in regulatory, compliance, or standards research. - Experience in a startup or fast-moving environment. - Hands-on use of Claude Code in professional work.
