Role Description An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Asset Health Team as an Asset Health Technician. - Using Anglian Water’s mapping, modelling and remote monitoring systems. - Understand, analyse, fault-find, develop and deliver solutions for water network configuration queries and anomalies. - Interpret data and ensure data quality, improving the understanding of the distribution system. - Work closely with field, design and planning teams to promote schemes and interventions. - Co-ordinate safe and cost-effective investigations across the region. - Deliver business processes and build strong working relationships within the Water Business Stream and other Business Units. This is a desk-based role. Qualifications - Educated to ONC level (or equivalent) or have suitable experience in a technical role. - Operational (field/office) experience desirable but not necessary – preferably in water distribution systems. Requirements - Understand water network configuration. - Deliver asset designs that take account of commissioning, maintenance, operation and retirement. - Support the delivery of PoSWSH processes relating to the laying and commissioning of mains. - Understand Supply & District Meters, Control Valves, Rezones, Cross Connections, Abandoning Assets and upgrading Hydraulic Restrictions. - Create/merge DZs and DMAs - including updates to the corporate registers. - Utilise GIS & hydraulic software, plus field investigations to resolve network anomalies. - Work with NSMs, field teams and contractors to co-ordinate the delivery of the high velocity flushing programme.
