Role Description We are looking for a Marketplace Operations & Growth Lead to take full ownership of our marketplace and key online retail business across Amazon and other leading platforms, including Kaufland, OTTO, ManoMano, Leroy Merlin, and others. This is a role for someone who knows marketplaces inside out - and is ready to lead a small, ambitious team through the next stage of growth. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, shape how the team works, and build the processes that turn good results into consistent ones. Tasks - Strategy & Growth - Build and execute a practical 12–24 month growth plan across platforms — focused on market share, margin, and ACOS/ROI - Spot growth opportunities that aren't obvious yet — new channels, underserved categories, pricing gaps - Set clear targets by marketplace, category, and SKU; keep execution on track through regular business reviews - Own the numbers behind the product: pricing, promotions, logistics costs, VAT, and platform fees - Assortment & Category Management - Shape the assortment strategy — SKU structure, price tiers, and segmentation that make sense for a growing catalog - Stay sharp on competitor positioning; maintain price parity and basket competitiveness across platforms - Continuously improve the product mix based on what's actually selling, what's seasonal, and where demand is moving - Operations & Supply Chain - Run day-to-day Amazon FBA/FBM operations and coordinate with 3PL and warehouse partners - Own inventory planning, stock allocation, and replenishment — keeping availability high without overcommitting capital - Find and fix operational inefficiencies: packaging, logistics flow, return rates — the small things that compound fast in a growing business - Performance Marketing - Manage marketplace advertising across Amazon Ads, PPC, and automated campaigns - Run external traffic channels: Google Ads, Meta, affiliates, retargeting — with a clear eye on ROI - Drive promotional mechanics — deals, coupons, platform events — with direct accountability for P&L impact - Content, SEO & Conversion - Improve product visibility through keyword strategy, SEO, A+ content, and strong creative assets - Optimize the full funnel: impressions → clicks → conversions → repeat purchases - Keep ratings, reviews, and brand reputation in good shape across all platforms - Analytics & Automation - Build lean, useful dashboards - revenue, margin, inventory, returns, and the KPIs that actually matter - Develop forecasting models for demand, seasonality, and pricing - practical tools the team can use - Introduce automation and tooling to reduce manual work and keep decision-making fast as the business scales - Partnerships & Leadership - Manage relationships with Amazon account managers and participate in platform beta programs - Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, finance, production, design, and legal teams - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 specialists; define standards, processes, and performance culture Qualifications - 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce / marketplace / Amazon ecosystem roles - Proven experience in P&L or revenue ownership - Experience in performance marketing (PPC, ROAS optimization, external traffic) - Strong analytical mindset with experience in BI, dashboards, and forecasting - Hands-on leadership experience (team management preferred) - High ownership mindset, entrepreneurial approach, and structured thinking - Fluent English is required; knowledge of Slavic languages is an advantage - our team is international and mixed Benefits - Remote work from anywhere within the EU - Competitive compensation package with quarterly performance-based bonuses - A fast-moving, ambitious, and performance-driven team environment - A strong collaborative culture built around accountability, initiative, and continuous growth Important Please submit your application via the JOIN platform only. You will act as a key driver of our digital commerce business - shaping strategy, scaling execution, and ensuring full P&L accountability across all channels.
