Role Description The Data Analyst will play a vital role in analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on key business data to support decision-making across departments. This individual will turn raw data into meaningful insights related to sales trends, customer behavior, inventory, and operational performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in working with data in a distribution or B2B environment. This position can be based at our Pittsburgh, PA corporate office or performed remotely. Key Responsibilities - Enter, collect, clean, and validate data from various internal systems (ERP, CRM, POS, etc.) - Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations for leadership and department heads - Collaborate with operations, finance, marketing, and sales to support strategic initiatives - Identify patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights to improve efficiency and drive growth - Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking - Work with IT to streamline data flows and ensure data integrity - Present findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Finance, or a related field - 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or business analyst role - Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker - Experience working with large datasets and relational databases (SQL knowledge preferred) - Familiarity with ERP or CRM platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely - Experience in distribution, supply chain, or wholesale industry a plus Requirements - Location: Remote or Pittsburgh, PA Corporate Office - Status: Part time - Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours - Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience - Full benefits package available including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO Benefits - Be part of a growing company driving innovation in the security distribution industry - Work in a collaborative, data-informed culture - Gain exposure to multiple departments and make a direct business impact - Flexibility to work remotely or from a supportive corporate office environment
