About the Role As a Sr. Software Engineer, Backend, you will be building AI-powered solutions across our Clinical Documentation and Medical Coding suite. You will work closely with the product, design, and machine learning teams to design and build services, APIs, and tools that support our SaaS products. Together with the broader team, you will work on AI-native products that correct clinical errors for hundreds of thousands of patients, and deliver hundreds of millions of dollars in measurable value for our customers. These products improve the quality of physician documentation, help clinicians identify missing diagnoses, convert documentation to medical codes and ensure financial integrity for health systems. The interfaces you develop help thousands of clinicians and hospital staff tackle some of the most challenging and high-impact patient encounters in U.S. healthcare. About the Role We are looking for a full-time, US-based Director, Sales to join our team. The Director, Sales will report to the Head of Commercial Growth and will prospect, build and close a pipeline of new business by partnering with executives at hospitals and health systems and mapping their needs to our revenue cycle management platform solutions. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to manage our Machine Learning Engineering (MLE) team. AKASA is a Machine Learning company from our inception. The combination of proprietary datasets, a talented research team, and customers that are eager to use LLMs sets up the MLE team for success.
