• Serve as the key point of contact for regional vendors, growers, and processing plants. • Perform quality checks of various seed types including commercial, parent seed, and experimental lines, both in field and laboratory environments. • Record and track seed line information throughout the production process. • Enter and manage seed inventory in GDM systems for various seed categories. • Monitor stock levels and support inventory accuracy through regular checks and physical inventories. • Track seed discards and support administrative processes related to grain sales. • Prepare written agreements with growers and support the assignment and tracking of production activities. • Support warehouse operations related to the distribution of test seed when required. • Utilize GDM systems for inventory tracking, reporting, and operational coordination. • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth production operations and timely information flow. • Support operational planning and adapting processes as needed to ensure successful project execution. • Other duties assigned
• Lead and participate in all phases of field activities, including seed packaging, planting, pollination, note-taking, harvesting, and shelling • Manage seed inventory systems and ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of seed stocks • Organize and execute field experiments, including site selection, planting, scouting, spraying, and harvest coordination • Recruit, train, and supervise seasonal employees, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards • Identify and implement strategic opportunities to improve operational efficiency and research outcomes • Develop and implement benchmarking strategies to monitor and enhance key deliverables • Operate and calibrate field research equipment such as planters, sprayers, and combines • Lead efforts to maintain and improve research quality standards and data integrity • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and promote a culture of safety across all activities • Promote a positive image of the company and the research organization.
• Provide leadership and coaching to District Sales Managers (DSMs) to achieve sales targets and execute business plans. • Develop and implement annual regional business plans and ensure DSMs create and execute territory plans for their respective areas. • Collaborate with the Market Development Manager on territory planning to align with market opportunities. • Monitor sales performance against goals and drive accountability through timely feedback and corrective actions. • Collaborate with the Market Development Manager and Marketing team to develop a dealer network fully aligned with the company’s distribution strategy. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and dealers to support DSMs in driving growth and market penetration. • Recruit, hire, and train DSMs; ensure the region remains fully staffed and team members are equipped with product knowledge, sales tools, and agronomic expertise. • Partner with Marketing Communications to manage local sponsorships and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with brand strategy. • Assume accountability for branded events within the territory—including field days, product showcases, and dealer trainings—in coordination with Marketing Communications and Agronomy teams. • Track competitor sales and marketing tactics; provide strategic guidance and coaching to DSMs and share insights with commercial leadership and marketing. • Champion company values and maintain a positive brand image in all interactions. • Other duties as assigned.
