Position Overview IaC Remediation Intern to join our engineering team for Summer 2026. This role offers hands-on experience working at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, security, and Artificial Intelligence. The intern will contribute to improving developer workflows by building automation that identifies and remediates infrastructure security vulnerabilities using modern DevSecOps practices and AI-driven solutions. Responsibilities: - Develop and integrate security scanning workflows using tools such as tfsec and Trivy within pre-commit and CI/CD pipelines - Build a system to parse and normalize infrastructure security findings from scanning tools - Design and implement an AI-assisted remediation engine that generates recommended fixes for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) vulnerabilities - Implement validation mechanisms (e.g., Terraform validation, linting, rescanning) to ensure accuracy and safety of generated fixes - Lead a capstone project to build an end-to-end AI-powered remediation workflow that automatically generates pull requests with validated fixes for security findings Nice to Haves: - Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred) - Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) - Basic understanding of application or infrastructure security concepts - Interest in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, especially Large Language Models (LLMs) and automation use cases Requirements: - Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States $20 - $30 an hour We value diversity at our company. We're seeking an entrepreneurial and culture-focused leader to oversee the product organization at Actian. This role will report to our Chief Product Officer. This is your opportunity to shape the future of Actian in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment. You will partner with the CPO and product line leaders to shape product vision while serving as the driving force behind how the product organization operates. This means owning team culture, organizational design, and the rituals and processes that enable high-performing teams. You'll be the internal champion who ensures the product organization is structured, motivated, and aligned to deliver business impact. This role may not be the right fit if you prefer stable, well-defined processes over ambiguity, or if you're more comfortable executing a vision than shaping one. What You’ll Do - Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented team of product leaders with a broad range of experiences, perspectives, approaches, and backgrounds - Understand Actian’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as best in the industry - Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on strategies and priorities leading to product execution - Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm - Manage multiple products and priorities, scale teams, and ensure org is effective, healthy and set up for success by establishing clear and measurable goals - Partner with Go-to-Market teams to position our value proposition, influence product messaging, and ensure clarity of our product vision and strategy internally and externally. Who You Are - 20+ years in the software industry, with at least 12 years in product management - 8+ years in senior leadership roles (Director+) with direct ownership of product vision and strategy, and a track record of hiring, leading, and scaling cross-functional teams across geographies - Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to set the broad outlook while providing detailed operational and strategic direction. - Highly technical and demonstrated track record of complex product work and outbound customer work. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience. - Preferred Qualifications - Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces - Ability to cultivate a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and excellence. - Experience with thought leadership and creating high-quality products and services that reach millions of end users. - Excellent communication and influencing skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships across complex organizations. - Familiarity with the data management landscape (databases, data integration, analytics platforms, or cloud data services) will significantly accelerate your impact. Essential Job Responsibilities: - Perform data analysis across all applicable technologies, and communicate recommendations based on findings. - Build analysis, data visualizations, and reporting that provides important insights required for decision-making in the organization. - Ability to streamline formatting and enforce consistent naming conventions across tools - Maintain consistency of all data points within the environment - Provide support with data cleansing & data management using industry specific tools. - Develop processes and protocols for data monitoring, hygiene (e.g. validation), and other strategies that help uncover gaps and opportunities to improve business. - Create informative repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement. - Own and optimize weekly dashboard; consistently ensuring the data is accurate, clean and scales to encompass the evolving growth of our customer focus data warehouse. Required Experience and Education: - Minimum of 2-4 years- experience in a digital role working with data, excels, and business models as part of a marketing team or sales team. - Experience transforming data trends into useful customer insights business can be used to guide data-driven strategy and customer experience. - Experience and an understanding of SQL Knowledge of data transformation tools and understanding of algorithms and data structure. - Worked with Tableau, Power BI or similar visualization tools. - Able to operate remotely in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment without the need of overhead support - Self-confident with ability to work remotely with and influence a global, matrixed team - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, gaining trust and confidence as a strategic partner from all levels within the organization - Very strong work ethic and team player with a positive “do what it takes” attitude - Problem solving, organizational and collaboration skills. - Growing analytical skills and ability to interpret and present key findings and recommendations. - Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
