Role Description We are seeking a talented Research Analyst with a passion for web3, emerging tech, and innovation. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, analyzing data, and producing insightful reports while building and scaling a research practice from scratch together with our research lead. - Scale up research into a profitable business line to produce 10 (or more) high-quality reports by month 3, solidifying our positioning as the market leader for the consumer brand / corporate Web3 vertical. - Create and own research reports end-to-end (from research, to drafting, to campaign & finding paid partners) focused on key verticals (payments, tokenization, loyalty, AIxCrypto, immersive commerce, DePin). - Introduce new research formats (e.g. surveys) and proprietary frameworks that sharpen our value proposition for corporate readers. - Build data & research partnerships. - Establish processes & tools to streamline and scale research together with our research lead. Qualifications - 2+ years in crypto / equity research, VC, PE, investment banking with a very good understanding of the blockchain & AI industry. - Proven track record with primary (surveys, interviews) and secondary research (industry reports, academic papers, web scraping). - Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to present complex ideas simply and clearly in plain English. - Ability to produce clear, concise reports, white papers, and client-facing documents. - Ability to synthesize a wide range of data and insights into a coherent framework that facilitates an in-depth understanding of a (new) sector & trends. - Highly independent, proactive, outcome-oriented self-starter that is highly adaptable and hungry to build and grow. - Relentless focus on execution and getting things done. - Strong skills in creating dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI. - On-chain data analysis (SQL/ GraphQL) knowledge is a plus. - Team player with a willingness to collaborate and put 51 Insight's mission above personal achievement.
