What You Will Do - Draft and negotiate primary deal documents for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures. - Take ownership of the due diligence process, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental reviews. - Collaborate closely with clients, counterparties, lenders, and internal specialist teams to drive transactions to a successful close. - Manage transaction logistics, including checklists, diligence, and closing mechanics. - Lead key workstreams on high-stakes commercial real estate matters across a variety of asset classes. - Provide commercially-minded legal advice to help clients achieve their business goals. - Oversee and mentor junior associates, fostering their development and integration into the team. Ideal Candidate Background - 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions at a top law firm. - Proven track record in managing complex deal streams, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing. - Strong drafting and transaction management skills with attention to detail. - Experience in cross-border investments, REITs, or real estate workouts is a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred - Familiarity with current market trends and legal developments in the real estate sector. - Previous experience working with a diverse range of asset classes. - Strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Compensation and Benefits The base salary for this role ranges from $260K to $365K, commensurate with experience.
