Role Description Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative virtual teacher to join our team for the school year. This unique position will involve working remotely, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom and 1:1 setting as they receive treatment in behavioral health facilities. - Plan and deliver daily lesson plans. - Provide individualized assistance to students. - Regularly communicate about student progress as needed. - Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success. - Maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 10-15 school-age patients at any one time. Position schedule is Monday-Friday in the mornings. This position will be at least 7.5 hours per week with the potential to add on extra hours. Qualifications - B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution - West Virginia State teaching license - Comfortable working with K-12 students - Strong organizational skills - Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs - Reliable Internet Company Description At LearnWell, we are committed to changing the lives of the 10 million students in the U.S. who are dealing with behavioral health issues.
