An experienced React engineer, based in Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, or Slovenia, ready to take on a complex project for a leading brand in the finance industry. Our client is a leading company in the finance industry. You’ll develop new features for a desktop app alongside a team of talented designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and project managers. You’ll work closely with the project team and become part of our core JavaScript team. The JS team consists of 30 engineers working on diverse web and mobile projects for clients worldwide. We’re well-versed in all things Web. We mainly work on solutions that run in browsers, but can also handle backend and mobile requests when the project calls for it. Our go-to technologies are React and Angular, but some team members also work with Vue, Node, and React Native. At Infinum, we encourage a culture of continuous learning, which is why the team hosts weekly lectures and workshops and actively contributes to the open-source community. Location: Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, or Slovenia The team works on Eastern Time (EST), and the working hours are 11 AM to 7 PM. • Develop and maintain reusable UI components for the Design System, ensuring accessibility (RGAA/WCAG) and performance. • Evolve the technical architecture of the Design System: design tokens, theming, and tooling for smooth integration into React, Angular and Vue projects. • Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate mockups (Figma, Adobe XD) into robust technical components. • Support product teams in integrating the Design System and promote best practices (clean code, performance, accessibility). • Document components and integration guidelines for designers and developers. • Optimize performance (lazy loading, Core Web Vitals) and ensure a smooth user experience across devices (mobile-first). • Participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes to ensure code quality.
